Exactly. I don't think Trump is a real conservative. He's more Democrat than Republican on many other matters. But he has demonstrated that the voters value guts and determination.
All of the other Republicans have steered clear of this issue, or have even said that they don't think there is an issue. Donald has basically talked about nothing else, and already he is pulling ahead of Mitt Romney in the polls. Just this one issue, which the rest of them won't touch.
If most Republicans weren't such wimps, they not only would do more for our country, they would be more ELECTABLE. People respect honest politicians with guts.

Trump is not much of a Republican. Fiscal conservative - maybe. Social conservative - no. I would guess he’d have to clean up the mess - maybe a Cabinet post, just not sure how well he translates to a future POTUS.

That Tiff strikes me as a Jerry Springer moment. Trump is fun to watch in that case and this one with Obama, but he is not serious. No one who would food fight with someone on The View is serious.
He basically is a liberal who doesn't want to pay the high taxes they want.
I know it is “illegal” to release a COLB in HI, but what is the punishment? A misdemeanor? I’d love to have Trump offer a cool million for the person who releases it. And he pays all prosecution fees/fines. I would be willing to go to jail for a couple of months to collect such a sweet payday.
