Jesse Jackson declares federal budget fight the American Civil War all over again

An estimated 700,000 Americans died in the Civil War, one of the bloodiest times in our nation’s history. It’s hard to imagine anything quite measuring up in this day and age — but Jesse Jackson can.

On Thursday’s “Martin Bashir” on MSNBC, Jackson, the founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, said the budget battle on the Republican side represents an effort to make the federal government “dysfunctional.”

“[T]his really is a Civil War fight,” Jackson said. “This is making the federal government dysfunctional on the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. These guys will support three wars. They’ll support tax dodgers. They’ll support the wealthiest Americans getting tax breaks. They want to cut into education and health care. This is an ideological battle.”

No word yet on how many women he impregnated while giving that speech. I'm sure it was several, at least.

That's just how he do it.

Jesse’s motto: Never let an opportunity to show what an ignorant fool I am pass unexploited.

OK! Let's say Jackson is right? It's civil war part II.

Now you have to pay the cost of the war. War is not free. Let Jackson have his civil war. Let him decide what needs to be cut to fund it!

This may well be the first time I have ever agreed w/ Jackson over anything but he’s right! This is the Civil War all over again and the battle lines are Federal control Vs States rights.

What a shame that Jessee keeps using the race card.

Why does he not understand we are all Americans.

The only civil war Jessee is creating is that he keeps segregating Americans into camps of his choosing.

The equivalent death rate would result in 7M dead American men.

Something to think about before diving into a civil war.

There is no doubt anymore that what Jackson and others like him stand for is "Get Whitey's Money and hand it over to the Blacks....it's OUR RIGHT!"

The good news this time, the south has the military bases, a good deal of our industry and a functioning society.

Idiot. He’s trying to incite a civil war, but does he know what can of worms he’s opening? I doubt his side would win, but it would leave the country in ruins. Even so, if it comes to that, I’ll support the good guys (hint: it’s not JJ and crew).

Jesse, check out who it is you’re really criticizing:

A) Obama started, and the Dems support, war #3; and expand war #2; and support the UN attempting to involve us in war #4, Ivory Coast

B) Obama appointed, and Dem Senate approved the tax CHEATS runing so many fed departments

C) Rangel and several other tax CHEATS are ‘Rats relected to term after cheating term in the House & Senate.

D) Some of the richest who, who complain the rich ‘don’t pay enough’ are Dems who have their money sheltered and will not pay a dime into the voluntary debt reduction fund...but want to tax the less rich more.

E) The “ideological-religious point” is the ending of using public funds to MURDER the unborn, which has amounted to genocide against blacks.

We have half the B-1's and Ellsworth AFB.

The other good news is that South Dakota is part of the South. ;-')
