"Good Muslim"? What the hell is that and good by what standard? In the Book of Swords, the Koran tells the faithful to kill the infidel. I hardly call that "good". On the other hand, if a Muslim were to accept an American way of life, they cannot be a "good" Muslim by the cult's definition. (Yeah, I call it a cult, not a religion. Indeed, it appears to be a warrior's cult, like Bushido in Japan, more than a religion.) It seems to me they're caught between a rock and a hard place. I think they would be much happier in a predominantly Muslim country than in the US. If there are any "Americanized, moderate Muslims", they don't seem to have any vocal chords, as they sure don't speak out against the mutilations or beheadings, instead they remain mute about the "Religion of Peace". Whatta crock...

No matter what we DO TO or DO FOR the muslims, at the end of the day, we’ll still be infidels or Jews and they will still hate us. The moderate muslims muslims are taught the same as the radicals.

I also wonder about black churches. Are they all teaching hatred for America like Jeremiah Wright’s church, or is that church an abomination. There is a tiny church here, out in the woods, tiny one room church, painted white, so pretty. I wanted to go there, we were without a home church, but I was afraid it might be teaching hate toward American and whites. I just wonder. To me, all churches should teach love. Jesus told us “Love one another” There are huge megachurches that have members of all skin colors, but I don’t want a huge megachurch, where you never get to know anyone. We finally settled on a church, but it is 45 miles away. But we are going every Sunday now.
Think I will defer to Nonine Darwish on the issue, but welcome to Free Republic.
