Comments follow statements by Donald Trump questioning legitimacy of president's birth record
The Hawaiian state health official who personally reviewed Barack Obama's original birth certificate has affirmed again that the document is "real" and denounced "conspiracy theorists" in the so-called "birther" movement for continuing to spread bogus claims about the issue.

"It’s kind of ludicrous at this point," Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the former director of Hawaii's Department of Health, said in a rare telephone interview with NBC.
Fukino, sounding both exasperated and amused, spoke to a reporter in the aftermath of Donald Trump's statements on the NBC Today show last week questioning whether Obama has a legitimate birth certificate.
Trump, who says he is considering a run for president, repeated his claims on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, saying that "nobody has any information" about the president's birth and that "if he wasn't born in this country, he shouldn't be president of the United States."

What is ludicrous is that the state of Hawaii has no law allowing an individual to get a certified (notarized) copy of their birth certificate.
My birth-state has such a law. I have mine and it is a totally legal document for business and passport transactions. I don’t know whether a COLB would be acceptable for either in certain states or by the Passport Department.
Has anyone asked them?
You assertion is just not true! I have spoken personally with the Lady in Vital records and she has made it plain that if a notarized paper copy made from the original paper document is needed, the state of Hawaii spends a lot of money maintaining a vault for such paper documents and a notarized copy can be made. John Klein of CNN floated Axelgreasy’s lie through Lou Dobbs and too many have been deceived by the lying scum sucker.
First of all, the birth certificate may not have been Barack Obama. It would like to have been at least Barry something and later Barry Soetoro. Now he is going by Barack Obama. So did he have another name change somewhere along the way? Why is he paying millions to keep this from being released? Because something is there. A certificate of live birth like the one released on the internet, is not even good enough to get Social Security. They require a long form. Think about it. Grey Eagle
Fine after-birthers, show us the ludicrous long form birth certificate and then explain why my fellow American chose to spend $2 million to keep it hidden from his from us, his fellow Americans. IOW, after-birthers, stop the whining and start the showing.
Notice she has never said it is a Hawaiian birth cerificate. All she has said was it is the birth record. That could include many things. It could be his record where he applied for an out of state birth. In that record he would have to supply a birth certificate. So, there is a birth certificate in the record, just not necessarily from Hawaii.
It shows a long form that was requested and received just last month.

Is that true? I still have the envelope and short form cert etc I rec’d when I applied for my passport in 1979. I DID NOT receive a long form. Have never seen it, nor any relatives’.

I read something interesting this morning that perhaps its the actual birthdate is the problem.
What if Obama was actually born 2 years earlier (on August 4, 1959) he would not have been born an American citizen as Hawaii became an American state on August 21, 1959. Therefore, he would not be a naturalized American. His mother would have been terribly young (just approaching 16) if this were the case. One day during the campaign, there was an extra amount of grey in his hair and one reporter wondered if he were not older and they were coloring his hair in order to make it appear he was not quite as old as he was.

Hawaii was a territory, though. So he would still have been born a U.S. citizen.
An honest former director would recognize that, yes, indeed, there are legitimate questions concerning the long-form birth certificate.If she has, in fact, examined the document, she would say something like "I understand why people might be concerned, but I have seen the actual document and everything appears to be in order." End of story.
On the other hand, if she was covering something up, she might accuse the questioners of being "ludicrous".

If they can’t find it they create it, but if it is already THERE, in more than one place, they hide it, lie about it etc.
Because ALL of these records are being witheld, they must ALL contain at least ONE COMMON FACT-they all have something in common that would be on EACH document, so...
What could that be? What would tie these records together?
Or maybe ‘the FACT(s)’ is the same on some, but different on others- which is fraud...maybe his SS#? His Race? Was he convicted of a felony? All of the above?
Why would ALL of his past records be made unaccessable?
And therein lies the problem; we are forced to guess (which may be what he wants) and w/Soros paying his way, $2mill is merely pocket change...
I’m glad The Donald is shining a light on it; because we need to watch BOTH of Obama’s hands and just watching one is a full time job.

I say A. HIs mother had Barry’s name on a document (possibly college) listed as a single name “Soebarqa” or something like that. This suggests he was adopted by his stepfather and given a traditional Indonesian name - a single name formed from his first and last names, commonly done in Indonesia. There’s no record that he ever legally changed his name back to BHO. The Hillbuzz website discussed this at length. If this is the case, it would mean that no one is named BHO now, so President BHO doesn’t exist.
