Gas price increases under Obama: “Electricity Rates Would Necessarily Skyrocket” ... but gas will do

Can you imagine going to the checkout counter at any store and have them tell you, “Sorry. We’ve had to double the price for you so that we can give stuff away to other people to buy their loyalty.”

The Arab countries are getting rich, though. Under Obama price per barrel has just about tripled.

4 bucks here in Michigan today...

If I remember correctly, last time the retail price was this high, crude was going for $150.00 a barrel...If that's true, the profits for the refineries and suppliers has gone well beyond robbery...

Too bad only Trump has the balls to lay the blame for high gas prices on Obama where it belongs. Republican eunuchs and RINOs obviously don't want to address this issue anymore than they want to question Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS.

Then you must have some AWESOME roads.

Awesomely bad. I drove I-80 to the Bay Area last fall, and the right lane was worse than some dirt roads I've been on. Then they charge you $5 to cross a bridge.

California uses a percentage of price instead of a flat per-gallon rate, plus it allows local taxes, IIRC.

LOL...nothing like a presidential press conference to tell everyone to keep their tires inflated.

Can anyone say “stupid”?

In Los Angeles County, the taxes per gallon are as follows (based on $4.20/gallon gas):

$0.18/gallon Fed Excise Tax
$0.18/gallon State Excise Tax
$0.012/gallon State Underground Storage Tank “Fee” tax
$0.373/gallon State/County/Local Sales tax

Total is: 74.5 cents/gallon or 17.7% of the pump price.

I have heard, unconfirmed, that STanley Dunham, Obama’s grandpa, was an exec with Standard Oil.

You're doing comparatively well. I saw $3.89 on the way in this morning, probably will be $3.99 going home.

Obama is turning this place into the Wiemar Republic from an economic viewpoint. Then, people had to shop for a loaf of bread in the morning because by the evening they couldn't afford it.

His step father made his money in oil..I also believe he was politically connected. Obama has not led a tough life.

He also hasn't led the life of a TRUE, LOYAL AMERICAN CITIZEN.

I do not believe he was eligible for the Presidency. That requirement wasn't about just birth.....it was about 100% loyalty THROUGHOUT THE CANDIDATES LIFE.
