You get a better deal with cops if you turn yourself in and then tell them who the other party was.
1) they don’t have to worry about a dangerous situation when they are sent to arrest you if you walk in and turn yourself in.
2) obviously cops want criminals to know their partners in crime will turn them in to avoid jail time or a tough sentenc.
The two animals who committed this crime ought to be doing very hard time and the McDonalds staff who stood by should also be prosecuted and fired.
I’m thinking the old lady, as the report on that page mentions redness around her eye.
Some years ago, young white girls got beaten to a pulp by blacks. This was Halloween, in Long Beach.
They saw no jail time. And one of the girls needed plastic surgery.
It has been open season on whites, just most whites don’t know it.

they are being charged with second degree assault. the one that turned herself in will get 3rd degree assault. That is a ticket and possible probation. no jail time. the other one will probably be sentenced to a year in jail and get parole after 4 months.
epilepsy and other seizures have often been mistaken for intoxication. Don’t know if this incident qualifies, but maybe.

We do in Iowa. At least those that paid attention to the state fair last summer and “Beat Whitey” nights.

Not at all. She knew there were pics and it would only be a matter of time before they were arrested. This way she get to make a deal and get off with a lighter sentence(if any)
Right you are. Mind you, I hope that the report-writing cop has been trained in observation (smell of booze?) and question-asking (do you have epilepsy?), and wouldn’t lightly write down “Intoxicated,” but who knows?
Although folks are disagreeing about several things here, what is good to see is the shared horror at this incident.

This has to be upgraded to a hate crime. If Eric Holder refuses, then he and Obama are through. I realize this type of black on white hate crime happens daily in this country, but this video has gone viral. There’s no way they’ll be able to slip this under the rug. This might be Obama’s “Sistah Soldjah” moment.
Remorse??? Sometimes after you do something you feel terrible. Hopefully that’s what happened.

For kicking somebody in the head? That would be a real travesty of justice if it turns out that way.

Exactly!!! After my daughter has a seizure she is disoriented and appears drunk for about 30 minutes. Her speech is slurred she can’t stand up without falling. Often cops don’t have a clue about medical conditions. Personally they need to get some basic training in this. A diabetic going into a diabetic comma can act intoxicated, if they don’t get help pretty quickly, they can die.
read the report yourself. It says plain as day “2nd degree assault”
