Libyan rebels sold Hizballah and Hamas chemical shells

Senior Libyan rebel “officers” sold Hizballah and Hamas thousands of chemical shells from the stocks of mustard and nerve gas that fell into rebel hands when they overran Muammar Qaddafi’s military facilities in and around Benghazi, DEBKAfile’s exclusive military and intelligence sources report.

Word of the capture touched off a scramble in Tehran and among the terrorist groups it sponsors to get hold of their first unconventional weapons.

According to our sources, the rebels offloaded at least 2,000 artillery shells carrying mustard gas and 1,200 nerve gas shells for cash payment amounting to several million dollars.

US and Israeli intelligence agencies have tracked the WMD consignments from eastern Libya as far as Sudan in convoys secured by Iranian agents and Hizballah and Hamas guards. They are not believed to have reached their destinations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, apparently waiting for an opportunity to get their deadly freights through without the US or Israel attacking and destroying them.

They’re ALL the bad guys; just sit back, and let them kill each other. There’d be less of them later, when we do have to worry about defending genuine interests.

Well, McCain said the rebels are “his” heros.

A long time ago McCain was one of mine, but that was a long time ago, time changes every thing as the song goes

He’s the poster boy for incompetent Military leadership

As you likely know, Westmoorland was under order to bring about those resaults, when politics runs a war it can only end one way

It's Debka.

Additionally, Mo gave up all nuclear materials and pursuit of nuclear weapons in agreement with Bush 43, and has been inspected.

Likely all chemical stuff went also, but it's possible.

Suspect source not credible.

Debka claims Tehran has never had chemical weapons before? Pure bovine excrement.

That is correct he did, and then daffy started turning over all AQ, to the united states. Obummer could not handle that, so he and France and Britain cook up this deal to steal the oil. And put some American educated Libyans in charge so they could pay money to the democrats under the table for years. Nice way to make up for lost union dues.

Obama is no friend of Israel. Obama is an Islami-Marxist-Chicago Gangster. The cult of Islam shall blow away as dust in the wind and Obama will go with it.

Here is a better source, and I don't mean CNN but the U.S. officials and others they quote, saying that Libya still has 10 tons of mustard gas.

Libyan chaos raises worries over chemical weapons stockpile

The elimination of the mustard gas and other chemical agents has dragged along.

The remaining 10 tons of material were to have been destroyed by the end of 2010; however, OPCW agreed to extend the deadline until May 15 of this year.

Crail said Libya has dragged its feet because it feels the United States and the United Kingdom have not carried through on their promises for scientific cooperation and help with building nuclear reactors in Libya.

Oh, great.

More weapons of mass destruction. If they are there, nothing but trouble. If they’re not there, that means some Republican is lying to get us into a war.

About the only thing we’ll know for sure is that whatever kind of cluster-buck it turns into, Obama won’t get any blame.

Good question.

They play themselves off as a Mideast based news source that always has the “hot screaming poop” and “inside dope” on what is happening, or going to happen, in that neck of the woods — but their track record for accuracy is less than stellar.

In fact it’s bloody awful. I can’t recall two instances where they reported, or predicted, something that actually came to pass.

Sometimes I think Debka is just a Jewish teenage boy in Tel Aviv having fun with the Internet.

Debka is an Israeli version of the National enquirer that focuses on cloak and dagger speculation.
