KABUL, Afghanistan – Eight NATO service members and a contractor are dead after an Afghan military pilot opened fire on the foreign troops following a dispute at the airport in Kabul.
Wednesday's shooting was the deadliest incident in which a member of the Afghan security forces turned against coalition forces.

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- At least six American service members were killed Wednesday when a man opened fire on troops and a "gunfight" ensued at an airport in the Afghan capital, military officials said.
We aren’t serious about winning. We should pull out. We don’t owe these savages anything.
Simple question: why are we working side by side with these people if they have a history of using suicide agents?

Perhaps the worst legacy from Bush is his “Religion of Peace” nonsense. He has hamstrung the U.S. with this silliness, and it hugely affects how we as a country view this struggle.

I enlisted during Vietnam and have NEVER promoted the idea of America leaving a half done war.
Today, that is changed.
We need to leave Afghanistan.
When they are American casualties, they are now referred to as “NATO” troops to protect Hussein.

Libya is Obama's Vietnam.
That is the whole point - if we are not going to fight to win, then we should not fight at all. Period. How many American men and women have given life and limb in this “war” as well as in Iraq.... all to have our officials basically sabotage our efforts there.
Regardless of how one feels about these two conflicts, we either need to fully support VICTORY (whatever that may ultimately mean), or we need to get the heck out.
Nuke it from orbit (It’s the only way to be sure).

And our American News Media calls them NATO troops, so that people who only casually hear any “news” will not even know that Americans were murdered in cold blood in Kabul yesterday.
Contrast this with the daily/hourly body count during the Bush years of this “war.”
