Savage: 'Redistribution' leads to mountain of skulls
World Net Daily ^ | 4-26-11 | unattributed

Posted on 04/28/2011 4:24:36 PM PDT by dynachrome

On his top-rated nationally syndicated radio show today, Michael Savage took a page from history to warn of where attempts to institute economic "fairness" ultimately have led.

"Be very careful, indeed, with your call for the redistribution of wealth, and fairness," he said. "It always ends up with a mountain of skulls."

Noting that communism cost an estimated 100 million lives in the last century, he reminded his listeners of the dark saga in Southeast Asia in the 1970s that began with a "nice, mild-mannered professor" going to Paris to study Marxism.

"He went back to his country, and he instituted social reform," Savage said. "He did not like the mild capitalism that he saw in his homeland, because he felt it was unfair. And he wanted the rich to pay a little bit more. He wanted the bourgeoisie to pay their fair share. That's how it started. It ended up a mountain of skulls. His name: Pol Pot. The country: Cambodia."

Millios upon millions murdered in China. They started with the wealthy business men and families. They instituted class warfare. Now who owns the wealth? The Communists and families.

But...but communism will work if the right people are in charge and if the stupid capitalists and individualists would stop fighting it! We could have a worker’s paradise where everyone would share in everyone else’s bounty!

(I can’t believe I typed that without shooting my monitor!)

Guns are not enough. The will to use them is also essential. We're already taxed and regulated far more than were the folks to took up arms in 1774. So far the guns are still in the closets.

Taxation WITH representation hasn't worked out so well, either.

Those ‘taxes’ weren’t income taxes. The taxes we have today ARE the basis for a socialist redistribution already.

Income taxes were started to support the FED and its never ending fiat debt bubble. We have been enslaved to a unconstitutional central bank, who will own everything before this ends.

Yep. Some people get. But they still tiptoe around that which animates these monsters - the will to power.

There were not just guns, but whole armies which tried to stop the commies with civil war in Russia, China, and other places. They lost anyway.

All true, but the American people are too uninformed to understand.

That's half of it -- the other half of it is, advocates of communism are always 100 percent in favor of making a mountain of skulls.

"He did not like the mild capitalism that he saw in his homeland, because he felt it was unfair. And he wanted the rich to pay a little bit more. He wanted the bourgeoisie to pay their fair share.

Well, actually he wanted to abolish money, cities, families, force everyone into an agrarian lifestyle, abolish ethnic minorities, religions, and kill anyone who wore glasses. That's a bit different from how the article describes it.

Because communism is so wonderful, it's worth the mountain of skulls.

The only reason communism hasn't been wonderful so far is that the skulls haven't been piled high enough yet.

Yes, they really believe that.
