Obama took SIXTEEN HOURS to make up his mind about Bin Laden mission

Barack Obama kept military commanders hanging by declaring he would 'sleep on it' before taking 16 hours to give the go-ahead to raid Bin Laden's compound.

Hit squads of specialist Navy Seals - who were not even told who they were preparing to capture - had practised the mission at two reconstructions of the terror chiefs sprawling compound.

The mission looked set to be given the all clear last Thursday when analysts confirmed beyond doubt that Bin Laden was in busy town of Abbottabad in northern Pakistan.

Saying yes to taking out terrorist #1 (aka the FBI’s most wanted man) shouldn’t be something that requires a lot of thought.

Five minutes of weighing the pros and cons should be plenty of time. A real leader would have said “Go” immediately. A waffling leader might need five minutes or so. Needing 16 hours and some pillow time shows that 0bama simply doesn’t have any true leadership skills.

I thought the whole thing was his idea.

I only have to make up my mind if I am deciding about something that someone else has presented to me.

I still don’t see a problem with the Commander In Chief giving it some thought before sending troops into a very hostile situation.

Not what happened. The military did an end run around his indecision. They moved the balo without his consent. By the time he was brought into the sit rm from his golf game there was no way to stop events. He got the credit, avoiding a charge of cowardice.

“”The raid occurred Sunday. He attended a WH correspondence dinner on Saturday night.””

He said on TV Sunday night the raid was a “week ago.” It is funny that it’s not mentioned on TV or any articles that I’ve read but I listened to him and that’s what he said.

Maybe FUBO never gave the OK and after 16 hours the military acted on it’s own accord. Since the mission was successful they let Zero take credit for it ...

How many hours did Bush “think” before he said:

“I don’t know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don’t care. It’s not that important. It’s not our priority.”
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

“I am truly not that concerned about him.”
- G.W. Bush, responding to a question about bin Laden’s whereabouts. 3/13/02

Bush in July 2006 disbanded the CIA group that had the mission of hunting down bin Laden:
“The Central Intelligence Agency has closed a unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants...”

Bush’s “thinking” is not a good model for kids.

This alone should be enough for impeachment.

I wouldn't try to make too much of this. A lot was at stake. Just imagine if something was bungled.

He took about 9 months. They found this place last August, IIRC.

Hussein is a joke.

Based on what?

Zer0 has never been a leader. Mr. Obama usually voted “present”
while a member of the Illinois senate. He’s only interested in what’s good for “Obama”.

When it cpmes to destroying America’s health care, military, economy and alienating our allies Mr.
Zer0 has no qualms. But in a time when quick action is required this guy freezes.
That 3:00AM call won’t be answered. Incompetent.

“”Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan. And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice.””

I must have misunderstood him on Sunday night. Is it any wonder? I just want to leave the room whenever his face or voice comes on so I’m pretty much traumatized!!

High Treason and Cowardice in the face of the enemy, for crying out loud. Had Barak Hussein Ubama been able to tip off his muzzie brother Usama about the impending raid - without getting caught - he would have done it in a New York nanosec. The pencil-necked pansy HATES this country more than any of us can imagine. How else to explain a 40 minute muzzie ceremony in a US ship, for a piece of muzzie slime who should have been tossed into a pen with a few half starved hogs and video-taped. Let us never forget, Ubama was pre-empted by the takedown and he freaked out. The 40 minute muzzie crap held aboard Vinson was his way of spitting in the face of the US Navy and all Real Americans.

If we have to have a member of the Drones as president, why couldn’t it be Bertie Wooster or at least Gussie Fink-Nottle?

He was probably having trouble getting through on the SAT phone to warn OBL to clear out ...

And when he finally discovered it was because Osama was talking all that time to Hugo Chavez, Obama became so enraged with jealousy that he ordered the mission to commence.

Hell hath no fury like a commie betrayed!
