However...

“The first debate of the 2012 Republican presidential primary contest appears set to go forward Thursday – even if there is just one major candidate on stage.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is the only top-tier candidate expected to participate in the forum at the Peace Center in Greenville, S.C.

Fox News, which is producing the debate with the South Carolina Republican Party, said the other anticipated participants were former Sen. Rick Santorum, Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, restaurant executive Herman Cain and former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson.”

Only two on that list are worthy to seek the nomination

Agreed. I believe they’re both smart enough to recognize that they can help each other and America by working together on a long term goal.

The more I hear from Michelle Bachman, the more I like her. She has more testicular fortitude than all the men who are running.

Polls don’t mean much at this stage, 9 months prior to the first primary vote and 18 months from the election. As the unanticipated death of bin Laden demonstrated, a lot can happen between now and then.

As candidacies are declared and the speeches and debates get underway, much will probably occur that will completely change the current rankings of prospective GOP presidential candidates. I expect that if Sarah Palin runs, she’ll quickly surge to the top of some polls but the media will do everything it can to pretend she (a) doesn’t exist or, (b) she exists - but is completely irrelevant because Romney is the ‘front runner’ (translation: the lib media choice to lose to Obama).

Get a grip seriously she will be down there in the polls with Bachmann. We’re doomed with Huck or Romney. West HAS to run to save this country.

Leaning towards Bachman at this point, although I am violating my rule of not supporting those who serve in the Senate for election to the Oval Office.

For me it is Palin/Bachmann hands down. In fact, it is that or nothing. I’m not holding my nose anymore (McLame); I won’t vote for a prissy RINO liberal (Mitt); I refuse to even consider a philanderer and cheater (Newt); and I won’t vote for a Libertarian kook - take your pick.

Errr, you mean the Minnesota state senate? Bachmann is not a US Senator.

Campaign speeches:
Huckabee “I’m not Obama”
Romney “Neither am I”
Trump “I’m not that MF either”
Palin “Where’s the book signing?”
Gingrich “Can I make any money here”
Bachmann “I’m looking for someone to run with”
Pawlenty “I hope people will know me now”
Daniels “I’m going to sign it”
Santorum “My 15 minutes is born again”
Player to be named later “This is how I will create jobs”
