I keep being haunted by an appearance by Romney on Hugh Hewitt two Fridays ago. He prefaced his criticism of the President by reciting what a nice and handsome guy he is, etc. etc. As we all know, he’s acutally an a**hole: Arrogant, vindictive, stubborn, self-centered, and dishonest. This incident just confirms that.
You have to be careful how you put that or the press will skewer you, but neither Romney, nor anyone else who concedes the “nice guy” issue out of the box is competent to wage a successful campaign against this joker.
