This new offensive is, of course, based on the premise that the 9/11 terrorist is alive. After all, there are the plethora of 'Bin Laden tapes' to prove it.
Yet what if he isn't? What if he has been dead for years, and the British and U.S. intelligence services are actually playing a game of double bluff?
What if everything we have seen or heard of him on video and audio tapes since the early days after 9/11 is a fake - and that he is being kept 'alive' by the Western allies to stir up support for the war on terror?
Incredibly, this is the breathtaking theory that is gaining credence among political commentators, respected academics and even terror experts.
Of course, there have been any number of conspiracy theories concerning 9/11, and it could be this is just another one.
But the weight of opinion now swinging behind the possibility that Bin Laden is dead - and the accumulating evidence that supports it - makes the notion, at the very least, worthy of examination.
The theory first received an airing in the American Spectator magazine earlier this year when former U.S. foreign intelligence officer and senior editor Angelo M. Codevilla, a professor of international relations at Boston University, stated bluntly: 'All the evidence suggests Elvis Presley is more alive today than Osama Bin Laden.'

I thought OBL had kidney disease and was on dialysis....How come there was no mention of the dialysis machines when the hut was raided...To me this just doesn’t sound right....Different stories everyday and couldn’t come at a better time..0’s numbers sagging....I don’t remember Bush parading around after Saddam was killed....We were told what happened, saw pic’s and that was it....
Regardless of all that, we have good data that he was alive after 2001, and that indeed the last good datapoint was in 2004. We have most if not all of the material, both the published stuff and the not-so-published stuff.

OBL's been cave plaster since 2001. In the last 10 years sinc, we secured an American presense in Afghanistan and in Iraq, which has divided and in effect neutralized radical Islam stretching from Israel to India, and to the North of that chain of countries has allowed us to co-opt Khazakh's in the air superiority power-projection basing sense.
If the word was confirmed that OBL was dead in 2001, that divide and conquer strategy never would have played out as well as it has.
Kudos to Bush for keeping a lid on it long enough to have the Israelis blow away Saddam's WMDs in Syria, and get all the nuke stuff quietly spirited away to Canada for nutralization and de-commissioning.
Obama on the other hand is using the May 1 event as a rationale for America to disengage from the region -- polishing dismal foreign affairs credentials, pulling out in time for the election and declaring symbollic "victory" without producing any credible evidence for what he supposedly did, he loses the check the US has on Iran's eastern flank, and lets the Paki's remain the thorn in India's side -- exactly as the Chinese creditors would want it to be.

Lol. No, just the multimedia material. Last good datapoint with OBL was in connection with the last Bush election. After that it went downhill, with first actual vids full of splices and other shenanigans, when those were picked apart they started doing tapes with just a still and sound, still full of splices, until they finally gave up altogether.

According to whom? As I recall that was an unconfirmed though popular tale from an anonymous source in the Middle East. A very similar claim was made about Saddam Hussein- that he was terribly ill, etc. I think in his case the claim was that he had cancer. Not so long ago people were claiming Barack Hussein a/k/a President Flustercluck was also suffering from some illness, in addition to the other stories making a big giant deal about a scar on his head.
I always figured those stories were just efforts by their rivals or opponents to make these leaders look weak, perhaps hoping to lower the morale of their followers or undermine their authority in the eyes of their respective fans.

Well he is one of the most highly respected top government officials that works behind the scenes. The military, the CIA and 5 U.S. Presidents. I’m sure you know better though......(sarcasm off)

When considering any part of this obamma/osamma story you have to keep three things foremost in your mind and then process the flood of (dis)information which has followed.
The three things not to be forgotten:
1.- They say they shot him in the face.
2.-They say they then dumped the body in to the ocean.
3.- They refuse to release the photos.
These 3 crucial facts make everything "officials" have told journalist mouthpieces nothing but disinformation.

Yeah I agree. Don’t trust “officials” with specific claims. Trust vague assertions that “hands don’t match”, take those right at face value. That’s much more intelligent.
I've heard the statement made by at least two Secretaries of Defense, John Bolton when he was UN Ambassador, several Whitehouse Press Secretaries, and virtually every major media outlet. If you have information that is contrary you might want to contact them rather than trying to discredit me.

He's been dead since we got him 12/01 at Tora Bora.
Compare his appearance in the last live video of him taken late '01 to the OBL Zombie who began to appear in the videos which began to appear every so often during the following years. His hands were long and graceful- then they shortened and thickened! His eyebrows had a pronounced arch and taper but they became thick and squared! And his nose widened and thickened up.
The OBL zombie v1.2 that appeared just prior to the '04 election became known as "Fat nose OBL". If you remember, the democratz all screamed that the video was phony.
Many of the vids/audios that appeared during OBL's long absence were plainly fraudulent- tapes edited piecemeal, old vids scrambled, the voice track out of sync w/lip movements.
"Oh yeah, Deather?" you sneer, "Why would Bush support those lies, huh?"...... Because Bush knew that if OBL were thought dead by opponents of our efforts to kill jihadis where they breed (A thing I wholeheartedly support!) those opponents (democratz) would successfully campaign for us to stop killing jihadis.
