>>> The author is sort of clueless here. Obama and his socialists understand very well how markets work...the whole point is that they WANT oil prices NOT to drop. Thus the increased regs and blockage of drilling. >>>

I go back and forth on this debate: clueless or intentional destruction. What is confusing is that his base supporters are clearly clueless, as is much of the media, so the debate remains largely with the clueless whether or not Obama himself is clueless or intentional.

The results are the same either way.

I noticed something odd a couple days ago. Those ads that pop up seemingly everywhere that say “Obama does this,” or “Obama said that” have changed to “Presidend does this.”

This would be true if Obama were acting independently. The truth is he’s just a hood ornament for The New World Order and he simply does what they say, which is to destroy our middle class and reduce the United States to a third world nation and integrate it into the world government by stages.

What appears to be incompetence in governing is actually competence at destruction. We’re the ones making the error in assuming he’s trying to be competent at governing and administrating. Instead, he’s trying to be competent at obeying his masters and benefactors, who give him more golf outings and his family more luxury travel than anybody else in this world. They pay him well!

You guys think the Republicans want the “energy crisis” fixed (now)? No, they want things to stay bad unitl about half way through 2012.

Both sides want nothing more than to leverage the energy situation to the detriment of We The People.

The problem lies in Obama’s lack of understanding
That should be a neon sign on the WH lawn.

There's no doubt in my mind that intentional destruction is the aim of socialists. Their goal is to dismantle Western institutions; Obama himself has said that one step along the way to getting the "green economy" they want (which is antithetical to progress and therefore destruction) is to get gas prices high so the consumer will turn to alternative energies.

Now, the interesting thing is that Obama IS actually clueless about some things. He has virtually no experience with executive decisisons. All his life he's been the talker and any decisions have been on a consensus basis. That's why we see a lot of fumbling about the Bin Laden narrative for example. He doesn't really know how to put a plan into action. That's been very helpful for us and I hope his bumbling continues and becomes even plainer in coming months.

Actually, anyone worth voting for wants the problems fixed now. That excludes a whole lot of Beltway insiders, almost all RINOs, and the party leadership, but it includes the TEA Party favorites. If you offered Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, and Jim DeMint a balanced budget, the repeal of ObamaCare, and limited government, those three would take it today with a smile.

If we cut spending so that entrepreneurs believed they could keep some of the wealth they generated, and then permitted drilling so that they could generate that wealth, the energy challenges would be solved well before the next election.

do not understand why the public should not be conditioned to see the face of Barack Obama on the fuel pump every time they go to tank. I do not understand why all of the jobs that have been lost in oilpatch and sent overseas are not rehearsed every time we have an unemployment report such as came out last week? The missed opportunities are breathtaking.

The only conclusion one can draw is that this globalist train has left the station, as Soros stated. And the RINOs have clearly decided they would rather have tickets on this train ride to hell than stand on principle.

Although this article states what every sane person believes is true, I think he has it 100% wrong.

How so?

I am now totally convinced that our president is a pure Marxist.

Why do you think the author would disagree?

Thanks neverdem for the link.
...many of his current "crises" -- and all the most critical ones -- are self-inflicted. They don't simply come out of nowhere, in the form of "events," unforeseen and random, but are generated through acts of omission or commission by none other than Obama himself.
The BP spill in the Gulf -- Obama ignored it, avoided having the feds do anything about it, turned it into a bigger problem (never as big as the partisan media shills immediately tried to make it) in order to rationalize suspension of drilling in the Gulf.

He doesn't work for us.

The missed opportunities are breathtaking.

You've heard my snark before -- that the NWO gentlethieves at RiNO Central have a "gentlethieves' agreement" with the NWCommmunistOrder "gentlethug" types at CPUSA Central a.k.a. the Obama Administration.

That issues are not being fought out honestly.

That the Big Fix is in, and we're the chumps.

Oh, no. He does understand. That's the problem.

Like the poster above, SunkenCiv, said, "he doesn't work for us."

They are either incompetent or complicit.

As you can see above, I voted for "complicit".

You guys are saying something that would take me to a position I'm not ready to go yet, and I say that completely ingenuously. I am not willing to accept that the Republican Party betrays its base because it is on the take until I can be unconvinced that they go wobbly at the knees because they reasonably believe that the voters will fire them if they cut services. That's why, the argument goes, that Social Security has always been known as the 3rd rail of politics and that's why the Democrats can gain majorities by demagoging these cuts.

I know Rush Limbaugh's argument, that "let Reagan be Reagan" works every time for conservatives and if we make Reagan into a Rockefeller we lose. But what evidence is there on both sides of the argument? Are we really warranted in believing that Republicans don't fear election loss in good faith? It is a different question, of course, if they are cowards for not putting their career on the line. But is there not a real argument to be made that the fault is not in the water inside the Beltway but in the hypocrisy of the voters?

Actually, I misspoke, and expressed myself incorrectly. I was not speaking at all of Republicans. I simply think they are weak willed and incompetent.

I was referring to Democrats and Liberals, and “complicit” is the wrong word. What I meant to say was: “They are either incompetent or malicious. Or both.”

Not to say there aren’t more than a few Republicans who are complicit. But I think there are a significant number who are simply spineless and/or incompetent.
