He'll never have a chance ever again.

The best he could have done (personally, of course) was to have won POTUS in 2008, before the wheels really began coming off here in Massholechusettstan.

But, he couldn't beat Gramps McPain then; who's he going to beat now that the abortion he signed into law has been exposed for what it is?

To save face, yes, he should admit it's a failure, but his arrogance and ego won't let him. Plus, if he did admit it's a failure, that's one more example of him being a flip-flopper. He can't win, which is great for us!

He's done politically, period.

RE :”In order to have a chance this jerk (Romney)needed to repudiate the law. He’s so arrogant he’d rather lose than admit he was wrong!

How about this scenario?

As RINO Romney runs we all swear we would die rather than vote for him. Then he gets the nomination and we all agree that we are screwed, But then something wonderful happens. He picks a VP we all love, say Bachmann( just a hypothetical, I love her) and she gives a home run speech about taking back this country from those that seek to destroy it like Obama and CO. Suddenly we all feel that the sun finally came out. Romney looks so dull compared to her. She is filling all the rallies. not Romney. We decide we are voting for Michelle not Romney. We decide a RINO with a conservative as VP is better than a Marxist. We all decide we must defeat the Kenyan Marxist in the WH at any cost. We decide anyone not voting is voting for the Marxist, And then election day....
This sounds familiar. I has seen it all before. Where?? Where?? A really bad dream ??? (scratching head.)

:)

One thing is clear. I will swear on a stack of bibles that I will never vote for Slick Willard, and I don’t care WHO he chooses to run with him. Think I spent all that time on FR raising awareness of how dangerous he is just to turn around and support him ? That would make me as big a liar and hypocrite as he is.

But if he picks a great VP and flips all his positions opposite of his real ones you can tell us 'he changed' so 'it's different now'.

2008 flashback coming on, it hurts. LOL

how about this scenario?

The pres race starts ... the RINO type party people spend 2011 getting themselves organized behind their candidates, they do fundraiser after fundraising ... tons of money to the RINOs.

Then at the end of the year, the conservative grassroots discovers the primaries are approachin’. They rally behind 4 or 5 candidates ... an oddball conservative wins Iowa ... then we all skip New Hampshire. SC conservatives are split all over ... and the leading RINo wraps up the race a few weeks later.

Sound familiar?

Fortunately, I don’t play those games. But, yes, you’ll probably see that spinning from some other FReepers who put their common-sense and principles on a box up on a shelf.
