R.I.P. President Daniels
WND ^ | May 16, 2011 | Vox Day

Posted on 05/16/2011 7:00:35 AM PDT by Bed_Zeppelin

Mitch Daniels has not yet declared that he will run for the Republican nomination for president. In truth, he is an unlikely nominee, despite the half-hearted cheerleading he has enjoyed from the likes of Fox News and National Review, who appear to have latched onto him in lieu of their first love, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. It has been reported that the Bush family is supporting the current Indiana governor and former budget director for the Bush 43 White House, presumably because they understand that neither the nation nor the party has any appetite for a third President Bush – this time Florida Gov. Jeb Bush – after the debacles over which his father and his brother presided.

Well...
If none other than the legendary Vox Day from World Net Daily says it, it must be so!

The only thing I know about Daniels is what his supporters have been saying on all the talk radio shows.

I think there's two of them. But they got their talking points down pat.

They never really explain why it is that Daniels threw Conservatism and The Tea Party under the bus at CPAC but then turn around and sell him as the The Tea Partiest Conservative Governor north, south, east and west of The Pacos.

Something's not adding up.

It has been reported that the Bush family is supporting the current Indiana governor

Which ought to be enough to disqualify him. He is the RINO establishment candidate.

Ron Paul aside, the present slate of potential Republican candidates is an insipid and uninspiring collection of political hacks.
Shows you where this writer's head is at.

Daniels is a RINO.

Vox Day is a paulbot.

I've got no use for either of them.

Well, for one thing, this is the first political article I’ve ever seen with the term “beta cuckhold” in it.

It has been reported that the Bush family is supporting the current Indiana governor and former budget director for the Bush 43 White House, presumably because they understand that neither the nation nor the party has any appetite for a third President Bush . . .

Mitt Romney is going to feel really, really cheated if this is true. All this time, he's been the loyal Bush family boot licker and place holder and, furthermore, it's his turn. < / sarcasm >

"the article was posted yesterday here on FR."

Ran it through the search engine before posting. It had no results with this title and still doesn't, other than this one.

There may be problems with Daniels in several areas. However, we need to be aware that, on the whole, his tenure has been represented by tremendous improvements in fiscal sanity, in addition to success in many conservative fronts, including reining in public sector pay and benefits and introducing statewide vouchers.

We need to be open to praising those efforts where he has succeeded in that we would hope that any candidate would offer many conservative success stories. He may be a RINO -- I am actually not convinced that this is the case -- but we should celebrate those areas where he has been successful -- and, in those areas, his accomplishments are head and shoulders above any other potential candidate.

Pandering to Muslims in Indiana
Muslim Alliance of Indiana ^ | Saturday, 09 May 2009 | Administrator

Posted on Sunday, May 15, 2011 12:00:02 AM by Stymee

“Governor Daniels showed us he was a man of his word and has stood by the commitments he made during the 2004 pre-election Iftar,” stated Alia Shah, Executive Director of MAI.

Local Muslims say such political connections are important if their concerns are to be heard in government. But faith, rather than politics, was the key topic Monday night — the first iftar held at an Indiana governor’s home. Several Muslim leaders called it historic.

“To be blessed to make prayer at the governor’s residence is significant,” said Michael Saahir, an imam from the Nur-Allah Islamic Center on the Northside. He said it is recognition of the contributions made by the estimated 250,000 Muslims in Indiana...........

Sarah Palin is electable and about a thousand times better than any of the other candidates.

We should elect her.

This piece is silly. Americans love their police state. Daniels will probably campaign on this decision. Sad, but true.
