Ex-Va. Teacher Sentenced to 25 Years for Child Porn

Former Manassas, Va., school teacher Kevin Ricks, who accepted a plea deal in March, has been sentenced to 25 years in jail for production and possession of child pornography.
Prosecutors said he molested boys in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Japan, typically getting them drunk and then assaulting them once they were unconscious.
Ricks led a double life as a charismatic, successful and popular teacher and camp counselor but also had a dark side, prosecutors said. They point to journal entries, photos and videos uncovered during the year-long investigation that chronicle his 30-year history of molesting young boys. In February 2010, a Manassas mother became suspicious of Ricks and went to the police.
Christopher Payne, one of Ricks’s first victims, will be the first to tell you the past 30 years haven’t been easy. He spoke out Thursday, hoping his horrific story will help someone else.
“I’m hoping more boys out there will come out and say what happened to them. They are not alone and need to be heard,” Payne said.

If he had pics of the Japan case, they are still legal to possess in Tokyo... how sick is that?
The media focuses on the Catholic church, but it is apparent that the State-Run Schools are the real problem.
Vendome’s version of a just and proper punishment:
I would have chained his hands and legs, then pulled him up four flights of metal fire escape stairs, feet first.
Then I would have kicked him in the family jewels just enough to cause a stomach ache every 15 minutes for 8 hours.
After that I would push him out a window letting him fall four stories into a pile of razor wire 5 rolls high and 5 rolls wide.
He could lay in the pile of razor wire for two days in the desert sun and then I would release a flock of crows and 1 gallon of scarabs right next to him.
But that’s just me.
Woman sex offender teacher would have cried and gotten probation.
All teacher sex predators all need to be treated the same. Bullet to the brain.
Insert another quarter and try again. Think surgical implements.

Wonder if he will face charges in Japan and possibly the other states ?
The new 'friends' he meets in prison will know exactly what to do with the wretch. Child molesters get special treatment.

I agree, though now I’m curious if a woman - teacher or otherwise - has ever been busted for child porn possession. I can’t think of one single incidence.
