I was watching the radar as it was bearing down on us, and my son’s facebook friends from WNY were talking about how bad it was. We expected to get nailed.

There was LOTS of lightning, but very little rain.

Thursday we had hail the size I’ve never seen in this area. It was over one inch in diameter.

Took out a couple tomatoes and peppers but also gave every vehicle we looked at slight hail damage. Four of ours, (mr. mm wasn’t home from work yet) and both our neighbors. Two of the vehicles are so old that it doesn’t really matter. The other two we’re working on.

Mr. mm thinks he can get it out himself because the dings are so small. There’s lots of information online about how to do that.

Governor Christie is a funny sort of politico ... On the one hand he tells the CO2-tax pushers to go fly a kite; but then in the same breath he implies “anthropogenic climate change” is real. I get the impression that Governor Christie likes to ride two horses with one ass.
