Not born this way: The facts, plus help available
Save California ^ | Various authors

Without any reputable evidence, the entertainment culture, uneducated media, and sexual activists have seduced today's teenagers, in particular, to believe that people are born homosexual.

However, science has found no biological basis for homosexuality, bisexuality, or transsexuality.

Study after study has found the “LGBT” lifestyle to be unhealthy, with the highest rate of sexually-transmitted diseases, and higher cancer rates and earlier deaths.

While all people are worthy and valuable, the fact is people are not "born this way," as a popular song insists.

On this page you will find:

1. The facts on homosexuality
2. Resources to overcome homosexual behavior and gender identity disorder
3. An important video message titled "Does God Love Gay People?"
4. Some personal stories from people who used to live a homosexual lifestyle

I think most of us have seen those whom you describe. We’ve seen effeminate heterosexuals who outnumber effeminate homosexuals and quite a few groups. What we do see in study after study is that environment is always the largest factor in determining our sexuality.

I've read about all I can find on the 1972 study you cited. Unfortunately nobody cites the text of the study. Even if the study supported the born that way theory, if that's all the evidence available, it's nearly worthless especially considering the twins studies and the other posts on this thread in regards to rats.

I completely agree. I have always believed that some were in fact “born gay”, and others who were affected by certain circumstances or their environment.

I believe most studies of homosexuality is carried out by homosexuals, since they are the only ones interested in why, so their research should be considered suspect.

Wanting to make it look as normal as apple pie would be only one reason for asking “why.” It used to also be of great interest among normal mental health professionals who got patients who were “gay” but unhappy with the situation and were looking for a way to kick the habit. (And in some sense it still is of interest, but no longer in the mental health mainstream.) “Why” is a combination of nature, nurture, and mysterious soul.

I'm just as God made me, sir.

God formed Adam in His own image.

Adam of his own volition violated God's command, resulting in sin, scarring his thinking and separating himself from God spiritually and also scarring his physical composition.

Subsequent generations inherited the sin nature from Adam.

Humans are corrupt versions of what God made from birth, but God still loves us that He has provided a solution for us to return to Him by His protocols.

We don't get there through homosexuality.
