Here's the naked truth about Rep. Anthony Weiner -- he's an Internet perv.
A "deeply ashamed" Weiner openly wept during a news conference this afternoon in Manhattan -- admitting that he made "terrible mistakes" in sending lewd pictures of himself to women he met on Facebook and Twitter over the past few years.
A contrite Weiner vowed not to resign in the wake of the scandal and said he had told his wife only today about his ongoing online sexual trysts. "I don't know what I was thinking," an apologetic Weiner told reporters at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown. He said 21 times that he accepted responsibility for his actions. Weiner also said he was "not resigning" -- but took "full responsibility for my actions" over the last few years.
Until today, Weiner (D-Brooklyn/Queens) had adamantly denied sending a crotch pic tweet last month. When asked last week whether the crotch seen 'round the world was his, Weiner responded that he could not say with "certitude" it was not. Weiner called the initial that photo a joke and a “hugely regrettable mistake.” Last week's underwear imbroglio erupted after a picture of bulging briefs popped up on the Twitter feed of Seattle college student Gennette Cordova, a follower of the congressman and an admitted fan.
After initially insisting that a hacker broke into his account and sent the photo, Weiner spent most of last week desperately trying to deflate the issue. "I lied because I was ashamed about what I had done," said Weiner....

I would have BET that 1) he did it and 2)...like all Dims... he would refuse to resign.

I really don’t care what his sexual perversion was: he was dishonest to everyone, including his wife.
I have never liked this congress-critter: he has always been nasty and sarcastic. It amazes me that any women would even want an on-line relationship with him.
It is so typical for these guys to say that they take “full responsibility” when they see no consequences. He is trying to pull a Ted Kennedy now. After all, Ted Kennedy did much worse, and came out of it as a hero of “women’s issues.”
Dunno about prosecution but give it a week or so, generally when they say “I will not resign” we’re down to the last few days.
Or until the new Missus Weiner has had enough and moves out, whichever comes first.

Summation: I sent pictures of my member to a few contacts but, my wife stands behind me; of course she's upset but, she lovesssssssssss me. I apologize, I apologize, I apologize. The constituents will have to decide etc etc etc. However, I'm not resigning.

What should happen if someone, anyone in his district had a conscience, is that they would drag that moral reprobate out of his cushy chair and proceed to beat him into a pulp. I apologize but it has come to the point that the only way we are truly going to 'cleanse' this situation is by getting involved physically. Emails, letters, phone calls do nothing. THE ONLY WAY THAT THESE DEGENERATES WILL PAY ATTENTION IS IF WE DRAG THEM OUT TO THE TOWN SQUARE.

What the Big Daddy Breitbart should do is continually leak out the messages and photos. We know there our a lot more and probably a lot worse out there. Eventually the libbies will throw him out on their own. This is why Republicans are so much smarter then libbies could ever hope to be. They cut the story before it begins to bleed. Weiner has allowed this story to hemorrhage it can’t be stopped. It will only heal when the libbies seal him the deal, the exit door.

I’m shocked that slobber-boy-tingle-leg really went after Weiner. Especially that Weiner said Huma knew about these online sex parties but didn’t know about this latest episode.

I listened to the KSFO radio live coverage of the press conference, and I heard Weiner when asked by a reporter: "What have you got to say to Andrew Breitbart?", Weiner apologized to "my wife, ...and everyone else", but specifically refused to say Breitbart's name.
