It may not come as surprising news to many of you that the United Nations doesn’t approve of our Second Amendment. Not one bit. And they very much hope to do something about it with help from some powerful American friends. Under the guise of a proposed global “Small Arms Treaty” premised to fight “terrorism”, “insurgency” and “international crime syndicates” you can be quite certain that an even more insidious threat is being targeted – our Constitutional right for law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms.

Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of all semi-automatic weapons (any that have magazines even though they still operate in the same one trigger pull – one single “bang” manner as revolvers, a simple fact the ant-gun media never seem to grasp).

I just posted my "I bought my first gun" thread yesterday, I'm getting my 2nd one this weekend, this is outrageous ...

This is the only way zero thinks he can stay in office. The moment he believes he will be voted out of office, he will turn militant and try to get rid of the Constitution by force.

The more I watch this turnd, the more convinced of CWII.

I like your style.

You don’t suppose the Gun Runner program was designed to set precedence for getting this ratified by the senate do you?

Makes one think...

The OIC’s army is what he bends to. And you are right, he will probably invite the UN to control the American insurrection.

Our freedom was won by people willing to sacrifice their lives in the process. Many did. It will not be taken away, and for the same reason.

Ditto, sir.

But I want the gun grabbers themselves to come to my door, not send the police or military to do their dirty work. Regardless of who tries to disarm me, it won't be a good day for them.

This comes as no surprise! If you can't do anything in the US to take care of a law you don't like, circumvent the law and go to the UN.
This is no secret. It has been going on for years.

Will this registry include Africans? Arabs? Somalis?

Will extra harsh penalties be imposed on career criminals for firearm possession, or just on the easy to catch law abiding property owner?

If not, it’s just an end-around by our own government (and others, like the Europeans) to control us using the trick of treaty supremacy.

We know the answer, and we know what’s going on. Our illegitimate government is trying to suppress our rights and our ability to protect ourselves.

This has gone on for some time. The Bush Administration told the UN to shove it, of course. But The Regime is on board and GUNG HO in hopes of being able to blame the UN for the confiscation of weapons and the trampling of the 2nd Amendment. Hussein’s problem is, the Senate will have to sign off on any UN imposed treaty of this sort. Will Senate leftists do so?? It will be interesting to watch as NRA golden boy Harry Reid finally smells the opportunity to render Americans helpless against the assault of Big Brother’s jack-boots! Stay tuned...and BY ALL MEANS, ARM YOURSELF!!!!

Amen. The bureaucratic fascists of the UN have no idea what Americans are willing to do to defend our freedom, only because so many of them represent countries where freedom is an abstraction, if it exists at all.

Can the Senate ratify an unconstitutional treaty?

Can the Supreme court overturn ratification if it is unconstitutional?

That would be the last mistake the UN ever made. I’d love to see them try.
