Sarah Palin's emails underscore polarizing effect

.....Taken together, the email correspondence underscores Palin's polarizing effect long before she was a ubiquitous figure on the national political stage.

Palin's disgust with the media was apparent as soon as she was tapped to be Sen. John McCain's running mate — a decision that happened with a suddenness that seemed to take her and her aides by surprise as much as it did much of the country.

"Can you believe it!" Palin wrote to one aide who had sent her a congratulatory email. "He told me yesterday — it moved fast! Pray! I love you."

She was much less in love with the media swarm that came with the nomination. She and aides objected when a blizzard of questions from reporters included queries about her favorite poem and the tanning bed in the governor's mansion. "Arghhhh!" Palin responded, noting she had paid for the tanning bed and was "dismayed at the media."

The darker side of her newfound fame was evident too, as the governor fielded several vicious threats against her life — all of which she forwarded to her aides without comment.

At the other end of the spectrum, the messages include many adoring missives from supporters around the country who, even before she joined the 2008 presidential ticket, saw her as a rising star.

Imagine if the MSM had been this curious about Clinton, Obama, or just about any Democrat legislator. Few of them would ever have been elected.

Imagine if the MSM took their job seriously, as being the purveyors of news to the public, without agenda or bias. The country would be in a lot better shape right now.

This whole business of getting all of Sarah Palin’s emails in the hopes of uncovering some dirt about her is disgusting. While the MSM loves to talk about women as if we are some monolithic mass, if we really were all prone to group think, we’d be unanimously outraged at how the MSM treats Sarah.

“Taken together, the email correspondence underscores Palin’s polarizing effect”

Nothing wrong with that. “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” - Matthew 10:34

and :

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? (Baal)” - II Corinthians 6:14

.....A couple of days ago I was listening to Rush and this woman, a conservative, called in. Said, in effect, that what she didn’t like about Palin was all the ‘drama’ she surrounds herself with. My mouth dropped open, I screamed at the radio...”You idiot! You’re falling for it... you’re letting THEM define who she is, not what SHE says.”...

Exactly! Callers like that need to focus on what the Left thinks of their conservatism!

They have nothing in common, so Sarah Palin is polarizing.

Massachusetts Senator John F. Kerry: Lost 2004 Democrat Party U.S. Presidential race – Secretary of State in Waiting

How the MSM sees the Face of the Left: Cosmopolitan – Sophisticate !

Governor Sarah Palin, Former Alaska Governor: Lost 2010 U.S. Presidential race as VP with John McCain – Potential place on 2012 GOP U.S. Presidential ticket

How the MSM sees the Face of the Right: Bumpkin – Hayseed – Hillbilly – Hick – Yokel – Rube – Clodhopper.....

Target of Liberal Media. You Betcha!

The Left can not allow her influence to spread. After all she believes in God, Family and Country and the Left has worked their tails off to deny, denigrate and destroy God, Family and Country.

----------

A LIBERAL explains: Palin inhabits the the more populist, provincial wing of the party

Provincial: a person of local or restricted interests or outlook; lacking urban polish or refinement

Synonyms: bumpkin, chawbacon, churl, clodhopper, cornball, countryman, hayseed, hillbilly, hick, rube, rustic, yokel

Antonyms: cosmopolitan, cosmopolite, sophisticate

That's how the Left looks at people, members of groups to be exploited.

They're not "curious" about Sarah Palin's emails they want to make her react to their assault on her and her family; they want us to not touch her candidacy with a 10 foot pole.

This is how the Left operates:

...............

[quote]

"I Just Want to Hear Him Deny It"

There is a story in politics, commonly attributed to Lyndon B. Johnson, about how LBJ wanted to circulate a rumor attacking his opponent in a Texas election. Johnson, it’s said, wanted to spread the story that his opponent liked to have sex with barnyard animals. One of LBJ’s aides said, “We can’t prove he’s a pig f——r.”

“I know that,” replied Johnson. “I just want to hear him deny it.”

"Rush Limbaugh was detained for several hours at the Palm Beach airport yesterday for having non-prescription Viagra (and maybe some other stuff as well, it’s not clear). He was returning from the Dominican Republic, a popular “sex tourism” destination where rich white men can have sex with underaged, desperate, sex-slave Dominican girls. Putting two and two together, I wonder: is that why Pigboy was down there, committing legal rape with the help of his non-scrip ED medicine?"

"I can’t prove it. I just want to hear him deny it." Source

**************

This week I heard the caller repeat the above “msm Limbaugh tale” to Rush on his radio show. Rush handled it well. Took on the creep and his attempt to take a shot at him.

The two "stories" above are instructive — that's how the Left operates.

And the MSM knows that Sarah Palin knows it too.

How can the LA times claim the emails show she’s “polarizing” without knowing what the norm is for a governor’s email? What is their basis for this claim? Have they considered that getting angry emails and the occasional death threat probably isn’t real unusual for governor? But for Palin it’s proof that she’s polarizing. Nevermind that when these emails were written she had something like an 80% approval rating in Alaska.

To "tagline" [Why do they fear her so?]

Because they are afraid (know) she will do what she says based on her rock solid beliefs.

Because they are afraid a majority of the country will listen to what she has to say about what the country needs and then go into the polling booth and vote for her.

Palin has just engineered the greatest act of political jui-jitsu in modern American political history! Just think about it... Her political opponents plus the PDS media took the unprecedented step of going after her official email communications. They had never done this for any other active politician and certainly didn’t seem concerned about The Messiah’s emails as US Senator and “Mr. Present” (Ill. state senator). They had done everything they could to destroy this woman and she was still standing, still smiling, still sticking to her convictions. I’m sure they were convinced that there would be a gold mine of material in these emails that would prove their assertions that Palin was moronic, a simpleton, pettily vindictive, unfamiliar w/ the issues, essentially trailer park trash. Palin and her team, in the best spirit of Brer Rabbit and the Briar Patch, objected to this unprecedented invasion of privacy as any of us would. Meanwhile, her team knew there was nothing incriminating or even supportive of her opponents’ several PDS memes.

So, the big day finally arrives. The PDSers are in a feeding frenzy, not unlike a swarm of sharks going after a seal. They’re sure this will be the coup de grace for Palin’s career. PDS media sends teams of reporters and hangers on all the way to Juneau. They - in another unprecedented move - actively solicit their readers to sift through the emails and find juicy dirt on their favorite moronic hick!

With baited breath and eyes wide with anticipation, PDS media dives into 25,000 pages of emails. And what have they found? That Palin was a dedicated and effective executive for the state, communicated actively about a wide range of issues that affected her state (of course, the PDS media had to diminish these by calling them “mundane”), seemed knowledgeable about and on top of said issues, and - like any politician - had supporters and opponents (PDS media, of course, had to term this as “polarizing” - as their heroes [like The One] have only rabid supporters and no opponents!). The emails showed no problematic issues relating to her and her family. In fact, Politico had to report that some of the emails had the Palins insisting that their son receive no special treatment while in the military.

So, PDS media swarm circles their prey, expecting a sure final kill. What do they get? Not only do they get nothing “incriminating” or that supported their many anti-Palin memes, but they have to grudgingly admit that Palin was a very effective and popular governor who demonstrated a command of the wide range of issues affecting her state. Not only didn’t the PDSers get any ammunition, but they have unknowingly focused a great deal of public attention to Palin’s effective past as a governing politician. Like a champion jui-jitsu artist, Team Palin has deftly utilized the rabid hatred of the PDS media against them! And, look at the timing... All this is occurring just a few days before the release of “The Undefeated”, the feature film that highlights Palin’s strong performance as a political executive and is designed to reintroduce her to the American public as someone totally different from the PDSers memes.

I am constantly in awe of this immensely strong, decent woman and her family. As our country careens out of control to Socialism, Marxism or worse, I can’t think of anyone better to reverse this and save the Republic.

Yeah, and a used one at that. I think it shows the woman knows how to stretch a buck. She also bought clothing at a resale shop. It’s easy to see why the Katie Couric types hate her so.

I'd love to read those emails too. Also Obama's, Hillary's and Pelosi’s. Why is it that Palin’s can be released but theirs can't? It makes no sense at all. Palin is currently a private citizen but they write about her activities constantly. But Obama, Hillary and Pelosi are public employees making decisions that affect our lives and we don't hear squat about their behind the scenes activities, either now or when they were in other positions.
