Deval Patricks records under lock & key
"You think all those cyber sleuths searching
Sarah Palins e-mails would get a similar thrill
looking at, say, Gov. Deval Patricks BlackBerry?
The answer is no, and not just because MSNBC
would never mobilize an army of reporters
to go after a Democrat.
The real reason people will never see Patricks e-mails
is because they cant.
The Massachusetts governor is citing a court ruling
used by Mitt Romney and Paul Cellucci
to exempt himself from the state public records law."
"Let's con them all!"

What I suspect is that Republican primary voters are so uninformed that Romney will be name they recognize on the ballot and will therefore nominate him!

Of course, because we were such a much better site when Slick Willard’s paid agents, sycophants and trolls were spamming this website with lies and debunked talking points ad infinitum and their attacking respected FReepers with vicious personal slanders.

I pray that Romney doesn’t get the nomination. I hated voted for McCain but did so because of Palin. I honestly don’t know if I can vote for him. I really, really, really cannot stand him.

"But the details of the event are more than unseemly - they may, in fact, be illegal. Massachusetts's animal cruelty laws specifically prohibit anyone from carrying an animal "in or upon a vehicle, or otherwise, in an unnecessarily cruel or inhuman manner or in a way and manner which might endanger the animal carried thereon. "An officer for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals responded to a description of the situation saying "it's definitely something I'd want to check out." The officer, Nadia Branca, declined to give a definitive opinion on whether Romney broke the law but did note that it's against state law to have a dog in an open bed of a pick-up truck, and "if the dog was being carried in a way that endangers it, that would be illegal."
"Dog on Roof? What Was It Like for Romney's Pooch? - Scientists Say Dog Likely Experienced Wind-Whipped, Uncomfortable Trip - "Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family's hulking Irish setter, in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon's roof rack. e'd built a windshield for the carrier, to make the ride more comfortable for the dog,".. Jordan Kaplan, the owner of Petaholics, a dog walking service in New York City, and a lifelong dog owner and dog lover, said Romney's actions were uncalled for"
"Romney's dog - This is a distinction Mitt Romney probably could do without, but he is surely the first presidential candidate to be attacked for putting a dog with diarrhea in a carrier and tying it to the top of a station wagon. Romney's defense: Seamus liked it. [like the citizens under Romney's RomneyCARE, etc.?] "
"As the oldest son, Tagg Romney commandeered the way-back of the wagon, keeping his eyes fixed out the rear window, where he glimpsed the first sign of trouble. ''Dad!'' he yelled. ''Gross!'' A brown liquid was dripping down the back window, payback from an Irish setter who'd been riding on the roof in the wind for hours. As the rest of the boys joined in the howls of disgust, Romney coolly pulled off the highway and into a service station. There, he borrowed a hose, washed down Seamus and the car, then hopped back onto the highway."
"Story about dog on car roof comes back to bite Romney - 200 comments from readers complaining of animal cruelty"
Romney's bad behavior Exposed by Seamus "Romney Loses Nomination Over Dog Abuse? - Romney was traveling that summer with his wife, five sons, and Seamus to his parent's cottage on Lake Huron. But hours into the ride, Seamus apparently suffered diarrhea, which ran down the back window of the car. .David Kravitz wrote on BlueMassGroup, a liberal blog. "It also strikes me as classic Romney: it solves a problem efficiently, in a business-like manner, and with no regard whatsoever for the suffering that the solution may cause." |

Isn't Deval one of Zero's golf buddies???
WTF is wrong with Massachusetts?
I apologize to my fellow FReepers from MA, but WOW I thought Illinois sucked and I've lived here my entire life.
And no Scott Brown is not a conservative.
If you put a shot of Scott Brown and Romney together they'd look like twins...

The RINO line-up is making me uncomfortable but if a strong conservative leader steps forward at the right time noone is going to care about a RINO Romney.
Sort of like when Palin stepped out of the mist and shook things up.
Otherwise, for every card the lefty press plays the right needs to play a card. The left attempted to dig up dirt on Palin and was eclipsed a man-child named Weiner.
You know the left is going to throw everything at the wall to see if something sticks. So, have the buckets ready to wash away whatever they throw.
Im not talking about making stuff up like they do but real stories of dirty dimwits.
Shock and Awe to barrow a phrase.

No, I think it becomes “small” when every possibility to attack someone is used, even when there is no bearing, such as blaming Romney in this case, when he was not the cause of the problem.
I am far from a Romney fan, but the endless attacks on him became “the sky is falling - the sky is falling” long ago.
Romney will not be the 2012 nominee. No really serious decisions on the nominee will be made until late fall at the earliest. Wasting time trying to destroy him every day keeps us from our prime duty of teaching the vast unwashed about the benefits of Conservatism. Remember, we do not elect the president. Neither do the DU / far left crowd. The middle dies, and we win only when attract them to our side.
Constant, endless, hate-filled Romny bashing does not bring us more voters. It only brings us disdain from the swing voters we need to attract.

"Deval Patricks records under lock & key ..."Richardson did the same thing in New Mexico before he left on December 31. Except even the current Governor Martinez (R) couldn't get her hands on needed records to help her decision making. After much posturing, Richardson granted her access to records that he had locked up for many years in the future.

In posting my worries about the emphasis FR seems to have in bashing Romney, I twice said I am not a Romney fan
You use that to claim Romney is my “master.”
I was also going to post my worries that FR seems, in some cases, to have become the hone of some people for whom lucid thought is a problem
I was going to post that worry about some serious nuts and hatera flocking to FR.... but after your post you have made that point better than I ever could.

For someone who claims not to be a fan, you seem unusually preoccupied with concern for an individual who is as antithetical to the principles this website stands for as can be. We’ve also been “bashing” Weiner as well. So should we tone that down, too, lest we offend his supporters ?

Good. Now can we get back to discussing Romney’s stance on abortions, global warming, carbon credits, romneycare and Ted Kennedy, hiding files, and being all things to all people EXCEPT Conservatives.
Why does Romney hate Conservatives?
