Let’s be honest here, folks - I can’t be the only one on here whose immediate, gut-level first impression was, “I’d hide the guy,” can I?

The federalists got themselves into a heap of hurt by going after this early Montana militia leader.

It would be great to get an interview before he gets Guerena’d.

Police in the Guerena shooting said he'd fired at them as well. At least, at first they did. Until it was determined that his rifle was on Safe and unfired.

This guys first felony was for an unregistered machine gun. Next was "felon in possession of a firearm". Neither of which should have been a crime to begin with under "Shall not be infringed".

Can't say as I can bring myself to condemn this guys actions.

Shot at what we are told were police. What he knew or believed them to be might differ.

He's definitely a bad dude but the reason he was out to run a stop sign in front of police officers was (ta ta taaaa daaa duh) "THEY LET HIM OUT".

Here they have a guy who is known to be very mentally ill and they just turned him loose ~ to do what?

The neighbors aren't afraid, but the cops are, and rightly so. Reminds me a lot of Bucky Phillips in New York ~ he managed to tie down a considerable part of both the New York and Pennsylvania State Police.

There's a judge out there who should be even more afraid ~ he should be FIRED!

I live in the home of militias and am generally supportive but I've encountered more than a few who are anything but freedom loving constitutionalists. I live less than 1000 yards from one of the Hutaree members who was arrested a couple of years back. Granted the raid and arrest were wrong but the guy who lives near me is not someone I would want to have any kind of power. He's more of an anarchist than anything.

said that Project 7 also conspired to kill local police officers, judges and county prosecutors.

This seems to be the standard package of crap thrown in for arrests or propaganda involving militia personalities or "militia types."

As I posted upthread. Pete King's hearings are heating up again and somebody needs the distraction of a dangerous right wing militia fugitive on the loose.

You feel uneasy because he's out on parole! His priors include actual possession of a machinegun, with ammo.

He has been DIAGNOSED as a paranoid schizophrenic.

That would make anyone very concerned, even the concern trolls ~ they really would.

A parole board and a federal judge created this situation.
