That's a rog, and something I've been saying since this whole Sturm und Drang started. If the Fed's attack dogs got off scott-free after slaughtering 80 civilians in cold blood, this is a cakewalk.

I hate saying it, but that will be the end result -- nothing. Bet on it.

First I agree with most of my fellow FReeper's in that this is the Administration and Bureaucrats behaving criminally and I do believe that there was a motive to base more restrictive gun purchase regulations on the outcome.

That being said, I want to point out yet another sign of the Dinosaur Media demise; " ...even the trial of the trafficker accused of buying guns, which were found at the sight of the killing of border patrol agent Brian Terry."

An obvious sign of an over-dependence on spell-check by a probable J-School grad! Do I need to cite the dictionary difference between sight and site?

CBS News Investigative Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson - who broke the story in February - reported on "The Early Show" Wednesday that three sitting ATF special agents who helped blow the whistle on the controversial operation were slated to be the first to testify at Wednesday's session.
Those egomaniacs don't even give credit where credit is due!

Codrea and Vanderboegh deserve the credit.

BREAKING: CBS to report tonight on 'Project Gunwalker'
Mike Vanderboegh of Sipsey Street Irregulars and this correspondent have been working behind the scenes with CBS News to help them provide the first television network coverage of the unfolding "Project Gunwalker" story.
Each of us has spoken at length over the telephone with correspondent Sharyl Attkisson and communicated via email with producer Christopher Scholl.

If Sharyl Attkisson "broke the story" on her own then why would she ever need to talk to them and work with them behind the scenes in advance of the show?

I want to throw something out there that the Dems and the DOJ had better really think damn hard about. If the laws don’t apply to you, why in the hell should you think the laws will apply to us?

I’m a law abiding citizen and I’m very angry at what I’ve seen and heard with this situation. I know there are people inside and outside the Government who are pissed off beyond belief and if the law isn’t applied appropriately and convincingly in this matter, these people will no longer stand for the BS that has been shoved down our throats and up our asses.

DOJ would do well to consider the ramifications of their actions. They are not above the law. If the law doesn’t apply to them, there are those out here who will make sure it’s understood that it will not apply to the citizens either.

DOJ and ATF messed up bad with this effort and their cover up. The Dems have put their own freedom on the line by supporting this. People will be jailed over this in this Administration. If they aren’t and this is swept under the rug, don’t say a fracking word when the People tell you to go pound sand when you try to apply these laws you feel your above, to us.
