arguably, NATO has now killed more civilians, than Quaddafi was “alleged” to have, before the U.N. gave NATO a “no-fly” zone, purely to protect civilians.

(not to mention the many buildings destroyed, fortunately without casualties, like the disabled children’s school, the Orthodox Church, etc.)

...all to help Islamists, who are so few in number, their “popular uprising” can’t topple Quaddafi after 3 months of intense bombing, including directly in ground support with attack helicopters.

...well, at least Goldman-Sachs stands to benefit by erasing their 3.7 billion dollar deal with Quaddafi...

Obama said it’s not a “war”.

This implies that it's NOT a tragedy when NATO kills Libyan soldiers that we have no business fighting. They're not human?

This is a vulgar farce. And it started when chickenhawks/neocons took over the foreign policy “establishment” in the 80’s.

We have no dog in this fight. This is murder.

These civilians were killed by a civilian friendly NATO bomb, so they're not dead in the real way.

Now if they had been killed by Quadaffi's police/military while looting shops and raping uncovered women, then they would be really dead, not unfortunately dead.

Kaddafy’s apologists love it when he kills civilians but then they pretend to care about the civilians NATO kills. They’re not fooling anyone.

We didn’t have a dog in this fight but now if Ole Daffy is killed then NATO and US will not be seen as liberators but as murderers.

Sadly, I am coming to agree with you, it has now become simply murder.

When a coalition of the supposedly most powerful air forces in the world, cannot quickly subdue a little country with no air defenses like Libya. It points out to me we have squandered many, many, billions of $ on NATO, a worthless and toothless paper tiger.

From Winston Churchill’s “The River War”

“We are told that the British and Egyptian armies entered Omdurman to free the people from the Khalifa’s yoke. Never were rescuers more unwelcome”

NATO robbers murdered more than 800 civilians so far in botched armed robbery.

Now, they are scared s...less. Ground invasion would expose the fraudulent nature of NATO protection racket.

Daffy has armed civilians and waits for NATO ground invasion.

The shores of Tripoli would turn into the streets of Mogadishu.

The unsolvable problem for NATO spinmeisters - if Daffy arms civilians, that means he is no dictator. If civilians are ready to fight NATO goons, oppression is comming from NATO, not Daffy.

With UK and France at the brink of financial collapse, and other NATO countries well beyond that point, it is problem indeed.

The hope of robbing Libya blind in couple of days turned into expensive and potentially fatal strategic mistake.

That’s why Ruskies and Chicoms let U.S. walk into the trap.
It’s popcorn time for them now.

Syria is off limits now. The game of chess is not going well. No wonder having in mind who is at the helm.

The only option for NATO is to declare victory and limp home.

I just saw that National Review Online (NATION REVIEW! Neocon Central!) has a poll up in which 84% of their readers want Congress to cut off funding!!!

National Review!

Viet Nam was never as unpopular as any of these wars. Where's the outrage?

Does Libya have the resources to hold out for the rest of the year? I mean, Serbia simply ran out of money in 99 but it sounds like Libya might be in a bit better financial shape than that.

The shores of Tripoli would turn into the streets of Mogadishu.

That'll never happen. At least not while Germany and France are averaging 1.4 children per family.....
