President Obama enjoys strong, steady support from Jewish Americans amid concerns that he faced an erosion in their backing.
A new Gallup Poll found Monday that 60 percent of Jewish Americans said they approve of the way Obama is handling his job, a figure that's relatively consistent with the high level of support he's enjoyed from that bloc this year.
Thirty-two percent of Jewish Americans said they disapprove of the way the president is handling his job, a figure that hasn't really jumped since May 19, when Obama delivered a major speech outlining a peace process for Israelis and Palestinians.
That speech was sharply rebuked by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and spurred speculation — especially on the right — that Jewish voters who had been aligned with Democrats might shift their support away from Obama.
That storyline has prompted some coverage, and Democrats have been sensitive to the charge; the Democratic National Committee recently went out of its way to boast that a fundraiser featuring Jewish Democrats in Washington was oversold.
The Gallup Poll, conducted throughout June, has a 7 percent margin of error.
The report is not utter bull because unfortunately Jewish Americans are extremely liberal. It’s always sad listening to Jewish conservatives like Dennis Praeger analyzing “why” Jewish Americans are so liberal.

This is beyond Epic Stupid.
This is foolishness on a Biblical level.

It seems reasonable that US Jews, who by definition do-not-live-in-Israel.....might not be big Zionists. They are Jewish. And they will be Jewish whether Israel exists as a State or not. The two are not at all the same to them
Do you detect a significant drop in support among Jewish folks? (I'm not talking about Jewish FReepers who are disgusted by him, always have been, always will be; I'm talking about the population in general)

No doubt polls can be forced one way or another, depending on how questions are asked.
The American Jewish connection to Liberalism has been reported fairly consistantly over the past 20 or 30 years, so the Obama support is really not surprising.
I’m just wondering how long it will be, after the official death of the US, until another free and great nation emerges. We have ceded liberty and self-determination to the greedy, the envious, the slothful, and those who self-identify as ‘intellectuals’. They collectively have harmed more people than is easily imaginable.
I am excruciatingly aware my co-religionists lean left, but based on other larger polls and my daily interactions, the Gallup poll reads like Soetero propaganda.
Did they make the telephone calls on a non-obvious Jewish holiday, thereby insuring no orthodox Jews were polled? Etc. Etc.
Then this poll is propaganda.
Note to Gallup: Hope your reputation was worth it...

This is about more than just Israel. Marxism hurt everyone ( except the oligarchy) in every nation its been tried. Yet....Jews are the smartest people, as group, on earth and the majority vote in the dumbest manner imaginable.

Obama is evil. Plain and simple.
"They" may not even be as smart as the top end in China ~ still leaves them at #3 of course ~ but once deposed I suppose that put them in a blue funk that makes them putty in the hands of Obama's handlers.
