In an article published Tuesday entitled Casey Anthony: The Candidates Respond, Salon Magazine smeared Sarah Palin and several Republican presidential candidates with faked quotes reacting to the verdict in the Casey Anthony trial. The faked quotes, especially those falsely attributed to Michele Bachmann and Palin, made their way around the Internet this week, adding to the media-driven campaign of hatred against leading Republican women. Palin was smeared as a separation-of-powers ditz, accusing President Barack Obama of not getting involved in the Anthony case: Once again we see, with our nation in crisis, President Obama stands by and

John Stemmons wantabees.
That truly is funny! I want to ask did he really say that or is there a chance he was misquoted?
I have loads of hope. Real hope.
Even the parasite welfare culture isn't completely stupid.
Salon fans of course are hardly "the public." They are the ideological issue of the 1960s Marxists and are expected to spread the lies. Most employees of the MSM are IMO in that mob.
Alex Pareene/Salon might take a lesson from John Semmens who writes better satire and also is straightforward about his articles’ status as ‘semi-news, semi-satire.’ What Pareene did was journalistic malpractice tho who can tell the difference?
Pareene seems to have been trying to achieve another “I can see Russia from my porch” where it doesn’t matter that Sarah Palin never made that comment, but it’s argued by libs that she did thanks to Tina Fey.
Yeah, I asked a Palin-hating female I know why she hated Palin so badly, and she told me that Palin was stupid, and she gave the Tina Fey quote about seeing Russia from her kitchen window as proof.
I explained that Sarah never said that, that she was quoting Tina Fey, not Palin. I told her she needed to spend her evenings watching the actual news, not SNL.
She didn't like it when I asked her "who's feeling stupid now?" We don't talk much anymore...
Thank you!
You know how it works.
I recall the tactics being used even by Sunday comic strips. Only it was to spread the acceptance of violence against conservatives; e.g., against Ward Connerly. The popular "black" comic strip's characters planned beating Connerly with a board spiked with nails.
The best and brightest Sacramento Bee brains dismissed complaints saying that it was just "satire."
Recall the attempts to smear Dr. Gerome Corsi by some lefty magazine lies who when caught apparently quickly doctored their online publication with a "satire" label.
Lefties' claims of "satire" are strictly out of Alinsky's Rules For Spoiled Brats.
Right. Just like veteran detectives Melich and Allen did.
Salon cannot claim absence of malice. Salon is what pond scum scrapes off its shoes.
I did something similar to a lib when I told him that obozo said he had campaigned in all 57 states. He said "There is no way obama would make such a statement", but I emailed the video link on youtube. I didn't even ask the "Now who is stupid?" comment, but he doesn't speak to me anymore. Heck, he avoids looking at me now.
I had the same question. Conservatives would do well to avoid the liberal habit of constantly moaning and groaning about sexism, hatred, and the biggest devil of them all, racism (!!!11).
“Lefties’ claims of “satire” are strictly out of Alinsky’s Rules For Spoiled Brats.”
Just what kind of satire do you believe should be permitted?
***Palin was smeared...***
Oh for a return to the days of CODE DUELLO when you could call out these slimes at Salon and force them to retract or shoot!
Salon is a dangerous crowd. After all they’re the people who dumped Caylee’s body in the swamp.
What?
I didn’t follow the trial. What does this mean: “After all theyre the people who dumped Caylees body in the swamp.”
If Salon is making up quotes for Palin I can make up quotes for Salon ~ it’s all just satire!
They knew it the first time they saw her.
It's why they go insane every time they think of her.
