The Sarah Palin movie, The Undefeated will be showing at one theatre in Southern California. In fact it will be showing at one theatre in the entire state of California:
AMC Theatres - The Block 30
20 City Blvd W
Orange, CA 92868-3100
Here are the start times for Friday Sunday, July 15-17: 10:15am | 1:10pm | 4:05pm | 7:00pm | 9:55pm
I went over to the mall where the AMC Theatres are. I hadnt been there in a while, so I wanted to scope it out. If you do decide to go, there are some things to be aware of:
While I was there, I purchased tickets for my wife and me for the 1:10pm Friday showing. We live about seven miles from the theatre and were retired, so theres no excuse for me to not see it. Besides, I found the teaser trailer to be intriguing.
I dont know if it shows beyond Sunday. I also dont know if the nationwide full release is automatic, or if its dependent on the box office receipts of the limited release. I understand that it will be released to DVD. I also understand that the unedited version will also be released.

Have you purchased your tickets yet?
Yes. I said so in the initial post.
Might I suggest that everyone going to see it:
Bring your CCW piece(s).
Bring a camera.
With all of the flash mob activity, you never know.
(Who else can predict the enemedia’s headlines Friday evening, “Harry Potter nukes Sarah Palin at the box office!”)
If I were driving from NoCal to central Orange County, I’d go down I-5, so there should be no direct effect, but if the 405’s closed all the alternates, including 5 will no doubt be parking lots.
He said claims to respect her but said he hopes Palin doesn't get in and says she and Perry waited too long and blew their chances.
He's clearly in the tank for Bachmann.
It will go to wider release at some point after this opening.
As I was standing at the ticket window, it dawned on my this is the sort of thing which helps the cause a number of ways.
The ticket window at the theater is actually a bank of ticket windows. A number of movie posters around with the usual fare. Pretty big place. The mall is outdoors at The City and the 22 Fwy, with what amount to several walking streets running through.
The mall has always been somewhat ganged up, and from the looks of things that hasn’t changed much.
And there I was, buying my movie tickets. I don’t buy movie tickets! That’s when I had an epiphany:
If this movie goes boffo, it will support the very type of independent filmmakers (to wit, The Undefeated producer) which will begin to challenge Hollywood’s propaganda machine, the same way FR and other sites challenge the MSM.
This could be the start of something big.
And for added entertainment surprize a lot of liberals in Hollywood - to an extent I dare say - they will begin to think “maybe we’re eating our own seed corn with all this liberal bullcr@p ... we want some of that ticket sales”.
And start making movies without gay themes and communism again. And lots of us - will happily buy movie tickets once again.
(hint, hint: Hollyweird are you paying attention?)
I'm visiting family and friends in the People's Republik of DC at the moment.
Somehow, I doubt it's playing here. ;-)
Hubby and I are attending at Grapevine Mills in DFW area on Friday night in Texas. Hope Texas gives the movie a great turnout!
If you can, please stick around for FOOD & FELLOWSHIP at the “after party” — 9 pm, here:

Personally, I will be watching the 4 pm show, and “working the line” at the 7 pm show —

We should have the “pre-sale” numbers by Wednesday night...
...and FUTURE SCREENINGS announced after the actual opening weekend numbers are in, early next week.
It will be PACKED with hard-core Palin supporters...and a few SURPRISES!
