Pastor Harris Himes sent me this letter following the shocking verdict in the Gladney beatdown case. Pastor Himes and his wife Sandra witnessed the local SEIU thugs attack Kenneth Gladney outside a Russ Carnahan town hall event in 2009. They were there when the SEIU beat an innocent black man. Harris was obviously upset with the verdict yesterday.
After a health care town hall meeting in August 2009 St. Louis native Kenneth Gladney was beaten, kicked and called racist names by Rep. Russ Carnahans SEIU supporters. Gladney spent the night in the hospital after the beating.
Yesterday the two SEIU goons who beat Gladney were found not guilty of any wrongdoing.
Pastor Himes was one of three impartial witnesses to the crime. The prosecution did not call him to testify in the trial. Yesterday the goons won.
Heres his reaction
My wife, Sandra, and I attended St. Louis Congressman Carnahans panel on aging on August 6, 2009. The tactic was clear. They let in about two hundred of us but had about 120 seats set aside, marked RSVP, and these were for Carnahan supporters. These people were let in by a side door for the handicapped. Many had purple tea shirts with Organizing for America in white letters on the back and large SEIU, smaller Service Employees International Union on the front. Sandra and I managed to get in.

A civil suit might be his only recourse.
At this point, anyone wearing a SIEU T-Shirt is a traitor to the Country. Man may mock God, but God's justice is inevitable. SIEU will get its day in court, one member at a time, before an almighty Judge. And fear will rule the day, because He is Just.
Hey, what’s the big deal? The system worked, right?
Reserved seating for supporters show clear Court collusion with the marxists. The sitting judge should be fired and the court system cleaned out with roto rooter.
That bowl needs flushing.
I think the reserved seating was at the venue where the incident took place, not at the trial.
Agreed: Civil suit. Sue the individuals and the union.
Would really like to get hold of a trial transcript someday soon.
Gladney, a cancer survivor, was selected by the Carnahan supporters for the beatdown because he was handing out Dont Tread On Me flags and because he was black.

Is HuffPo Threatening Political Pressure in Gladney Case on Behalf of SEIU?
by Dana Loesch
Weve already noted how two HuffPo reporters ran defense for SEIU: First there was Erica Payne, HuffPo blogger, lover of all things Media Matters, who appeared on Fox News to try to shift blame of SEIU antics onto the tea party.
Weve also read how HuffPo blogger Arthur Delaney was embedded with SEIU to cover their home invasion of Bank of America employee Greg Baer which terrified Baers young son who hid in the bathroom (were still waiting for the Carnahan Coffin-Gate drama queens to repeat their hysterics over this but so far, nothing); Delaney became the first to parrot SEIUs baseless accusation of conflict of interest at Fortune columnist Nina Easton after she published her firsthand account, as Baers neighbor, of the same protest. Monday we exposed Huffington Posts own conflict of interest when we discovered that SEIU had paid the site $15,000 categorized as political activities and lobbying.

Is this what SEIU money is buying? Two HuffPo bloggers running their media defense? Of course, this could be a routine advertising expense. But, Big Government has learned that the Huffington Post has inserted themselves into SEIUs most notorious violent incident: the Kenneth Gladney beating of last August.
Caught on Tape: Racist NAACP Leader Says Kenneth Gladney Not Black Enough, an Uncle Tom
by Jim Hoft
On May 5th, 2010 The Missouri NAACP hosted a press conference and rally on behalf of Perry Molens and Elston McCowan, demanding the county prosecutor drop assault charges stemming from an attack outside Russ Carnahans townhall in South St. Louis County on Health Care last August.
Molens and McCowan were arrested after the staged Carnahan event in August after they beat, kicked and stomped on black vendor Kenneth Gladney. The two Russ Carnahan supporters and SEIU members also called Kenneth the n-word as they bashed him into the cement.

Elston McCowan of the Green Party of St. Louis
A long time SEIU member and union organizer, Elston McCowan has pledged to be an activist candidate and an activist Mayor, and is running on the Green Party ticket.
calling for, among other things: full employment, quality housing, universal health care, for the federal government to pay its fair share to bailout the nations beleaguered state and municipal budgets and to fund our public schools and universities, health, public transportation, infrastructure and other services.
We in the Workers International League believe that this campaign offers workers and youth, both Black and White, the best option in the upcoming St. Louis city elections. We are in favor of building a mass party of labor, based on the unions, armed with a program of socialist demands that truly addresses the interests of the working class majority of American society.
We believe working people and youth should vote for McCowan to say:
Yes! to Full Employment, quality union jobs and benefits for all at a living wage.
Yes! to Quality Housing for All, with rents fixed at no more than 10 percent of income.
Yes! to Free, Quality Education for All, fully fund our schools and universities: no to privatization, vouchers and school closings.
Yes! to Free, Quality health care for all, for a socialized national health care system.
No! to big-business bailouts at public expense: make the rich pay for their crisis!
I figure SEIU shopped for a liberal judge and don’t forget the prosecution is also a government employee....
The judge is a government employee. Impartial my ass!
St. Louis, Missouri, August 15, 2009 It is laughable how the left-wing media is so quick to paint Kenneth Gladney as a liar. However, Gladneys account of the events that transpired on August 8, 2009 have never changed because everything he has said is the truth. The truth, on the other hand, is not something that comes so readily to SEIU thug and attacker of liberty, the wannabe politician, Reverend Elston McCowan. Yes, the same Elston McCowan who accused St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay of blowing up his van during McCowans unsuccessful bid for mayor earlier this year.
Initially, McCowan told the St. Louis Post-Disptach that he, in fact, was attacked by Gladney:
But Elston McCowan, an SEIU staffer, said Gladney was actually an instigator. McCowan accused Gladney of attacking him as he walked to his car. McCowan said he suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Out of nowhere, the guy just assaults me, said McCowan, 47, of St. Louis.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Just a little over a week later, McCowans anti-American buddies at the International Journal of Socialist Renewal are now reporting the following:
Walking outside, McCowan saw Gladney selling buttons of Obama in blackface and Obama smoking weed. Feeling insulted, McCowan asked why a black man would be hawking material denigrating the first black president as he pointed to one of the buttons.
When I pointed at the button, Gladney slapped my hand. So I told him not to hit me and pointed at it again and repeated my question. He smacked my hand even harder, hit me several times and pushed me down. As I went down, I grabbed him by reflex to break my fall. I hit my shoulder and something popped. I lost consciousness for a moment but soon realised that Gladney continued to hit me.

So which story is it, Mr. McCowan? Were you merely walking to your car and attacked out of nowhere as you first stated, or did you stop and antagonize Gladney, as Gladney has stated all along? Now you conveniently add that Gladney was selling racist merchandise. Hmmmm a black man selling merchandise with President Obama in blackface? Last time we checked, President Obama is black. Was this why you called Kenneth the N word then punched him in the face? Or was it, as Gladney has stated on the record, that he was only selling pro-Tea Party and Dont Tread on Me buttons? It seems that McCowan is spinning a new yarn to assuage his own guilt for calling Gladney the N word by trying to paint Gladney as a racist. Nice try, Mr. McCowan.
If you hadn’t noticed, the justice system has been dying for a while now.
The courts are dominated by leftists who have only ideology in mind. Outcomes are determined by them based on what they want you to see, the lessons the sheeple must learn.
It is corrupt.
The St. Louis left hasn’t changed a bit. Just replace KKK with SEIU and there you have it.

Hi All,
I think a truth committee is needed as well as legal and medical funds. To-date my workman’s comp has been denied, which means that I have to pay co-pays for my Dr.’s visits as well as deductibles. Currently SEIU Local 2000 is paying for my legal fees in defending myself and any others charged with assault associated with the Union. I hope that if there is a Civil Suite against me, they will pay those legal fees as well, but there aren’t any guarantees at this juncture.
Thanks,
Elston
