Pastor Harris Himes sent me this letter following the shocking verdict in the Gladney beatdown case. Pastor Himes and his wife Sandra witnessed the local SEIU thugs attack Kenneth Gladney outside a Russ Carnahan town hall event in 2009. They were there when the SEIU beat an innocent black man. Harris was obviously upset with the verdict yesterday.
After a health care town hall meeting in August 2009 St. Louis native Kenneth Gladney was beaten, kicked and called racist names by Rep. Russ Carnahan’s SEIU supporters. Gladney spent the night in the hospital after the beating.
Yesterday the two SEIU goons who beat Gladney were found not guilty of any wrongdoing.
Pastor Himes was one of three impartial witnesses to the crime. The prosecution did not call him to testify in the trial. Yesterday the goons won.

My wife, Sandra, and I attended St. Louis Congressman Carnahan’s panel on aging on August 6, 2009. The tactic was clear. They let in about two hundred of us but had about 120 seats set aside, marked “RSVP,” and these were for Carnahan supporters. These people were let in by a side door for the “handicapped.” Many had purple tea shirts with “Organizing for America” in white letters on the back and large “SEIU,” smaller “Service Employees International Union” on the front. Sandra and I managed to get in.

I think the reserved seating was at the venue where the incident took place, not at the trial.

When in the course of human events the citizens of a nation become aware that Justice and Redress are not forth coming from their government officials, it becomes necessary that the citizens take up the responsibility of correcting the malfeasance of those officials.
Can this correction be accomplished short of simply hanging the officials?
Elston McCowan, a dynamic trade-union leader with deep roots in the Black community, will be running as an independent candidate for mayor of St. Louis in the April 2009 general city elections.
McCowan is the pastor of a church in the Walnut Park area of North St. Louis and an active leader of the public sector workers represented by SEIU Local 2000.
Local 2000 is one of the SEIU locals threatened with a trusteeship takeover by the SEIU national leadership of Andy Stern. There is widespread discontent among the union’s rank and file, especially among school custodians, over the poor leadership of the national union as janitorial and food services have been privatized in the St. Louis public schools.
McCowan is also known for his support for Reparations for Slavery.
Maybe this will smarten up some Blacks - Oh never mind just musing.
The prosecuting attorney for St. Louis County, McCullough, is a pro-union, big time Democrat. As a matter of fact, he was one of the founders of the TRUTH SQUAD which was established to THREATEN anyone that dared question OweBOMBa during the run up to the election.

Other Obama supporters have threatened critics with criminal prosecution. In September, St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce warned citizens that they would bring criminal libel prosecutions against anyone who made statements against Obama that were “false.” I had been under the impression that the Alien and Sedition Acts had gone out of existence in 1801-02. Not so, apparently, in metropolitan St. Louis. Similarly, the Obama campaign called for a criminal investigation of the American Issues Project when it ran ads highlighting Obama’s ties to Ayers.

Good post. Anyone who doesn’t see that the legal system is as infected as any other branch is not paying attention.
I believe that jurys are as infected and swayed as well as the bench.
