Why do Jews still support Obama?

I’ve been puzzled ever since Obama first started campaigning for president. Why do Jews support him? It cannot be their love for learning influenced by his great grades in any of his colleges. He has refused to disclose them. So it’s, Oh! Who cares about them? “He had to do well to become editor and chief of the Harvard Law Review,” they chirp. Actually, he was the president of the HLR, and he was appointed to that position. It couldn’t be because of his great record in the Illinois Senate. He never initiated a bill and merely voted a majority of times “present.” It couldn’t be because of his support for Israel throughout the years. He was close friends with Louis Farrakhan, Father Pfleger and Rashid Khalidi, and he attended the meetings of Palestinian radicals in Chicago.

Most people who call themselves Jews do are social liberals who not believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as He is portrayed in the Bible. If they did, they would be much more careful as to who gets their support.

Public accomodation was/is a vicious attack on private property rights. The previous civil rights legislation -- which such people as Barry Goldwater supported -- had no such violations of private property rights.

The "conversation" that you have commented on here is about Jewish "hate" of Christians. Virtually none of us hate Christians.

Most of us have numerous Christian friends. The ones who do not are generally the MOST conservative; and in fact they have few liberal Jewish friends either. They live in their Orthodox communities and really know little about Christians or Christianity, and they generally know just as little about non-Orthodox Judaism and Jews. (But, overwhelmingly, they know how to vote!)

No no no.... American Jews supporting OBAMA!

American Jews did not support Hitler. Perhaps the exception to that were those real Hollywood Communist Jews such as Leo Penn (Sean Penn's father), who did support Hitler if an article from Free Republic is to be believed.

Supporting Obama, if not as bad as supporting Hitler, is pretty bad in itself.

p.s. I just heard over the news that a Rabbi and a Conservative Christian group have filed suit against New York's efforts to shove gay marriage down the population's throat.

1. Part of my family is Jewish, I have grown up around Jews my entire life, so I stand by my statement

Then again, maybe a few aren't stupid, see things like this thread, but make the mistake of presuming these are the views of Reppublicans and people like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann. Both of whom I'm sure would reject the sentiments expressed. A shame, but understandable.
