WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Markets "go up and down," White House spokesman Jay Carney said Thursday, after the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell as much as 372 points.

If I were Ubama, I'd be thinking about becoming Secretary-General of the United Nations right now, rather than waiting until his term is over.

Pretty funny since Obama’s entire economic policy (other than the pillage and burn stuff) has been to prop the markets up so that union and government employee pension plans wouldn’t be utterly destroyed.
