Many may be deceived by a myth, and especially Myth Romney.

Romney just wasted his own ink by signing this pledge...it won't get him any more votes.

Who are the idiots that run his campaign?

ok.. so you would prefer for him to come out in favor or gay marriage?
I would prefer he simply go away. The guy who lost to McCain who then lost to 0bama is a poor canidate. Well maybe not for the 'rats.
I don’t get it, if he doesn’t do what you want you hate him, and if he does what you want you still hate him. Is there anything he can do politically that you would approve of?
You don't get it because you expect that this time (is it a "flip" or a "flop"?) he'll settle on a position and stick to it. The best predictor of future behavior says he'll just flip (or flop) next time it fits his agenda.

So, yes, I would approve if he went away.
When someone, even a former enemy comes over to my way of thinking I welcome them with open arms.
Hug a snake; the snake is more likely to remain what it is.

You are better off with an enemy that stays your enemy than with a "friend" that will turn on you at the drop of a popularity poll...

well.. you make some good and valid points. But I think I would still give him credit for eventually doing the right thing.

btw, I am not a Romney supporter, I am Perry all the way.

Thanks raccoonradio.
...Romney has joined Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann and former Sen. Pennsylvania Rick Santorum in signing a pledge to oppose same-sex marriage... the pledge advanced by the National Organization for Marriage...
