Obama: Something is wrong with country's politics

"Unfortunately what we've seen in Washington in the last few months has been the worst kind of partisanship, the worst kind of gridlock, and that gridlock has undermined public confidence and impeded our efforts to take the steps we need for our economy," Obama said after touring a Michigan factory that makes advanced batteries for alternative-fuel vehicles. A Washington Post poll released this week showed widespread and deep discontent with Washington. Nearly 80 percent said they were dissatisfied with the way the country's political system works, compared with 60 percent in November 2009. Seventy-one percent said the federal government is mostly focused on the wrong things, up from 55 percent in October 2010.

Reminds me of a guy who murders his parents and then asks for clemency because he is an orphan.

I think he means the the country is not taking his directives so that he can set his planned economy in place.

If there is wrong with the politics of getting our country back, then so be it.

I am surprised Oblahblah can go anywhere these days without needing an ice pack on his lips to counter all the hot air and acerbic remarks he’s continually spewing.

Nearly 80 percent said they were dissatisfied with the way the country's political system works,

Our country is failing because we have too many laws. It is really that simple. We have too many laws because we have 535 full-time federal lawmakers and countless state and local lawmakers who do nothing but continue to pass new laws, day in and day out! An average of 600 new federal, state and local laws are passed each month in this country! EACH MONTH!!!

This has got to stop.

I think it is exactly what he wants.

The frustration, outrage and conviction that the political “system” can't function is the predicate to revolutionary change. A population that does not understand how its own political system is designed to function cannot pick out the specific changes and that is the ignorance built up by our media, academic and culturally tainted systems.

Look at his words — he is saying he agrees it is hopeless and implying he would welcome an insistence for unilateral change.

An average of 600 new federal, state and local laws are passed each month in this country!

And each new law brings less and less respect for all of them.

Obama: Something is wrong with country's politics

He certainly called that one correctly - America has elected a STALINIST to the White House and the rabid left has hijacked what used to be the Democrat party, which no longer believes in Democratic principles.

He can't be so idiotic and narcissistic that he actually believes what he is saying. ( Can he ?)

His blame game MO is getting really old and I believe about everyone, dems included, are getting embarrassed and sick of his inability to accept responsibility for his disastrous road towards ruin.
