My 14 year old heard hpim on the debate and liked. She heard about him because he used a Pokemon quote during the debate, and tgphen she watfched it the next night and liked him. My husband was asking me all about him. Hubby was impressed.

Absolutely right, IMO

The presidential election in this country has become an industry that peaks for a year and a half and makes a lot of money for sponsors of events.

I’m not complaining, mind you. But I think it’s important to call it for what it has become. Adn yes, Quint and I enjoy it all the way down to our tippy toes!

>>>>Anyone that purchased a ticket at the gate could have walked up to any candidate’s booth and asked for a free ticket.

There were no admission tickets. If you bought one at the gate, it was to vote. Candidates were giving comps...

Cain has a very high likability factor. I don’t see him as the nominee, though.

You don’t have to sell me. Perry lost any chance he had with me when he made statements against the border fence.

I appreciate knowing more in depth about the Gardasil issue though. I didn’t know a lot about it and had written it off as a non-issue when I heard there was an opt-out option and that insurance companies wouldn’t pay for it without making it mandatory. Your information puts a whole different twist on it. Do you know where I could find more informaiton on this? Is it as simple as an Internet search?

Sorry about the typos. I’m using my iPad, and not wearing my glasses.

I totally agree, she needs to move off those talking points which she somehow managed to shoe-horn into the debate this week.

One problem I have with Bachmann is that she does play fast-and-loose with the facts and truth as jerk Pawlenty accused.

The family farm subsidy and income thing has never been explained. She said matter-of-factly she didn't earn money from it yet reported earnings in her congressional disclosures.

She stumps that she's been unalterably opposed to increasing the debt ceiling but that's really just pandering. The fact is she signed on to the Cut, Cap & Balance pledge providing it also repealed ObamaCare. In other words, even Bachmann had a price for raising the debt ceiling.

I'm not keen on her penchant for prevarication.

In Texas, our border is a winding river. A fence is straight and on the land. Land that is farmed and ranched — and lived on.

He made remarks against the fence that is wide open in too many places and cuts ranchers off from the rest of the State, cattle from water, and the Border patrol from the true border: the Rio Grande.

n 30 years only 3 people have won Ames Straw Poll & IA caucus, & only 2 of those have won GOP nomination. SC, right every year since ‘80

That’s not what they’re saying over on the Perry Live thread. A bunch of Palin haters who see RP as the second coming of Christ.

Get a grip. Stop throwing the "H" word around. It is against forum practice to drag arguments from one thread to another. If you have a problem with posters on the Perry thread, post there.
