They know nothing, and therefore I know that they better keep their cottin’ pickin’ fingers off the volcanic switch, before they do something irreversibly damaging to our environment.

..."geoengineering," would use scientists' knowledge of the Earth's cycles [assumes facts not in evidence]
to curb the rise in temperature, the melting of the ice caps and increasing weather volatility. That is without a doubt the singularly worst idea I have ever heard in my entire life! Can we say "hello ICEAGE"?

GtG
PS Who gets to write the environmental impact statement? Who would be dumb enough to sign off on it?

"We only have one planet," said Alan Robock, a leading geoengineering researcher at Rutgers UniversityThese Ivy League einsteins are fricking brilliant aren't they?

(Sigh!) Maybe the next asteroid hit will just pop us all to hell, and we won’t have to worry about “global warming” anymore. Man, this nonsense is getting old.

Scientists believe that our warming world may face catastrophic changes to its natural environment, including droughts, rising oceans and fiercer, more frequent hurricanes. I can't get my mind to see droughts and hurricanes as associated consequences of a cause. when is the last time a hurricane tore through the Sahara, Death Valley, or the Gobi Desert?

Just once, I would like one of these a$$hats to tell me what, EXACTLY, is the CORRECT temperature for the earth to be? And how do they know that?,
Ding, ding, ding and well phrased.

Bitz, working with University of Washington researchers Kelly McCusker and David Battisti, analyzed the impact of the leading geoengineering solution, the release of volcanic aerosols into the upper atmosphere.
"The equivalent of Mount Pinatubo going off every year," Bitz said, referring to the eruption in the Philippines in 1991, the largest in recent memory. Bwaaaaahahahahahahaahhaaaaa!
I HAVE THE SOLUTION!
Remove ALL sulfur controls on COAL FIRED POWER PLANTS; build MORE of them, and require them to build stacks higher: INTO THE STRATOSPHER!
Bwaaaaahahahahahahaahhaaaaa!!!
ELECTRICITY FOR ALL!
Bwaaaaahahahahahahaahhaaaaa!!!

"We only have one planet,"And whose fault is that? We should have had 2, plus a decent sized lunar base by now.
