Or maybe it was an earthquake.
I really wish he would ride the shark he has jumped off into the sunset because he is fodder for anti-theists now.
And rightly so.
Put a sock in it Pat.
Actually my biggest concern is that the Laus Deo engraving at the cap will be quietly removed.
I am a Protestant and I cringe whenever this man opens his pie hole.
Pat Roberson is the Evangelical Joe Biden.
I had a relative who would say stupid stuff like this all the time. If you broke your leg, God was mad at you. If you stubbed your toe, God was mad at you. I was in the room when she told a family member who had recently been diagnosed with cancer that God was mad at her. I said, “God must be MAD at us... He’s leaving you here”. Stupid people.
So who’s he blaming, the Masons or the Administration?
Hey, Pat, Earthquakes damage old things.
quack, quack, quack
But it seems to me the Washington Monument is a symbol of Americas power. It has been the symbol of our great nation, we look at that monument and say this is one nation under God.
Now, theres a crack in it and its closed up. Is that a sign from the Lord? Is that something that has significance or is it just result of an earthquake? You judge, but I just want to bring that to your attention.
Robertson went on to say: It seems to me symbolic. When Jesus was crucified and when he died the curtain in the Temple was rent from top to bottom and there was a tear and it was extremely symbolic. Is this symbolic? You judge.
The Deist, absent God may have been popular amidst certain 18th Century intellectuals....even some of the Founding Fathers of America (Jefferson and Franklin come to mind). However, there is NO place for Deism among those who profess to be Christians...or even observant Jews.
I still cannot believe this clown won the Republican primary in the state of Washington.
PATENT BULLSHIT from a world-class idiot!!
Hey Pat, “Jesus thinks you’re a jerk.”
shut up Pat, please, just shut up...
Their ministry remains in disaster areas long after the media and the celebrities have moved on.
Most importantly the 700 Club has brought many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
I personally have their prayer number on my cellphone and use it frequently. 1-800-759-0700.
Several people that I know have been healed (including my twin brother) when words of knowledge (from the Holy Spirit) were spoken over their circumstances.
God bless Pat Robertson and the 700 Club.
Brings to mind another oldtimer, Anal Roberts. (Woops, slip of the mind there, folks. Make that Oral Roberts).
That was a sign from God. If Obama gets struck down by lightening, though, I be inclined to give God the credit.
Pat’s right. What’s left in this country any more that’s defensible before God? If any city in history needed a shot over the bow, it is Washington DC, especially right now. A nation so incredibly blessed is throwing away all vestiges of being a Christian nation. We are no longer the nation our fathers founded. We aren’t.
Paging “Awww Geezz, Not this S^&% Again!” guy.
Earthquakes, tsunamis, and the like definitely have God as their cause. Jesus said that there would be “earthquakes in diverse places” as one of the indicators of the end approaching.
What Jesus DIDN’T say that the signs were in any way a judgement. There was no indication that people needed to start living right or signs would happen.
Pat is right that America has increasingly turned away from God. He is also right that God is behind these natural disasters. PR is wrong to link these two facts though.
