I used to live in Dodge City, KS. not an expert on Wyatt Earp but according to Western historian Louis L’Amore, the idea of a single gunman saving a town from outlaws because the citizens were all sheep is nonsense.
He said most of those people were veterans of the War Between The States and were not scared of anything.
I suspect most flash mobs on the other hand are composed of cowardly bullies who would probably not stand up at all to an armed citizen unless they had him caught unawares.

You forgot to include “Lawyer Up.” Most of the flash mob incidents are taking place in liberal no-gun zones. If you defend yourself be prepared to be arrested, charged and prosecuted because you killed an underprivileged future Doctor, Scientist, Nobel Laureate who was just beating you to death out of boredom.
