Might be an interesting suit, although the blogger would be dragged over the coals.

For any lawyers: How might the plaintiff show damages?

Until people stand up as one and say enough is enough there will be no changes. A two week boycott of all air travel will quick bring this to a head and force some real change.

TSA screening procedures have already taken a toll on the Fourth Amendment;

Whats wrong with customs doing their job? They intelligent enough to ask questions, afraid of profiling? Or just plain stupid?

Here in Thailand, Defamation suits are a means for shutting up the political opposition. Nice to know the USA is catching up. ;-)

A cavity search to get on an airplane?

Totally out of control.

Hey, if it’s good enough for the peons, it’s good enough for Barry and the Wookie.

More details here.

It's a horrible story, but is it true? Consider the source.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amy_Alkon

In her daily life, and in her blog, Alkon has a number of campaigns. In her article, "Hello, Psycho" (entitled after the opening salutation of one of her respondents), she describes her anti-SUV campaign, which consists of placing small cards on the windshields of SUVs. The cards (which are her own composition) refer to the driver as a "Road-Hogging, Gas-Guzzling, Air-Fouling Vulgarian" and pointedly suggest that the driver is compensating for "an extremely small penis" by driving "such a monstrosity."

Maybe she is telling the exact truth, but her accusations would have much more credibility if she were not a professional complainer.

Napolitano, “We’re getting creamed here with our know nothing drones acting like thugs, so let’s make an example of someone!”

OK...I don’t fly. I have not flown for years.

And, I have been very much against these pat downs or the new fangled nude machines....

...but are all these pulled aside, behind the screens, pat downs include a cavity search?

What an amazing coincidence. Kashmir Hill writes an article slamming Matt Drudge the very same day Janet Napolitano gives a speech slamming Matt Drudge. And both women use the same phrasing.

Man. How often does something like that happen?

Apparently this rape was retaliation for Amy complaining so loudly about the TSA groping. Here is what Amy wrote elsewhere...

Basically, I felt it important to make a spectacle of what they are doing to us, to make it uncomfortable for them to violate us and our rights, so I let the tears come. In fact, I sobbed my guts out. Loudly. Very loudly. The entire time the woman was searching me.

Nearing the end of this violation, I sobbed even louder as the woman, FOUR TIMES, stuck the side of her gloved hand INTO my vagina, through my pants. Between my labia. She really got up there. Four times. Back right and left, and front right and left. In my vagina. Between my labia. I was shocked — utterly unprepared for how she got the side of her hand up there. It was government-sanctioned sexual assault.

Advice to any ladies concerned about this... wear pantyhose

The TSA is nothing more than a group of overpaid pedophiles and bureaucratic misfits.

Can I get a suit too?

So...basically if you want to travel on Federal Airlines out of Federal Airports...the King’s Men get to have their way with you first?

That’s an easy one..on so many levels...
