The geniuses at the White House who scheduled Obama's speech on the same night that the Green Bay Packers were going to open their defense of the Super Bowl may just have cost the president the state of Wisconsin.
At least one Badger State NBC affiliate appears to be thumbing their nose at the White House and pre-empting the president's jobs speech in favor of airing pre-game festivities.
At least Packers fans have a reasonable perspective about what the president will say. They'd rather hear about how Aaron Rodgers will attack the Saints blitzing than listen to an increasingly irrelevant politician offer little in the way of hope on the jobs front.

Will that game be held in Lambert Field?
Obama is not an American so of course he wouldn’t know any better than to schedule his speech same time as Packers.
I’d watch the Cleveland Browns before I’d give Odummy one second of my time....
He’s too arrogant to back off.
The handlers for the President and planning staff....really screwed up on this situation. Their obsession about out-doing the Republicans is hindering their ability to rationalize even scheduling now.
If the 49’ers ever fold they could move the Packers to San Fran. They wouldn’t even have to change the name...
Wisdom and truth just keep on bubbling up no matter how many Liberals and union goons reside there, in that great state of Wisconsin!
Hmmm...... what exactly are pregame festivities? and why does one watch them?
Hey President Zero,
You lost last year when the Packers beat the Bears.
You and your Union thugs LOST big time in WISCONSIN thanks to Gov. Walker and the legislature. You can keep the whiny loser rats that ran to Illinois.
Time to go back to Chicago with your corrupt politics.
Here in Houston, Texas, tailgating has a big attendance.
or more of this...
Just spit coffee all over my puter! (giggle, snort, snort)
do you know what cable stations are carrying the pregame? dont have cable at home (planned to watch it all here) but will go to local Chili’s to see pregame & first half
well, I watch the Cleveland Browns all the time. We here in NE Ohio are suckers for punishment
He probably has tailgate party plans with some packers...afterwards.
Maybe we can get the whole nation to pre-empt the nation’s Village Idiot.
LOL...we’re transplants to NE Ohio from the Cincinnati area, so we’re Bengals fans.
I lived in Cinti.. that is where my ex/family were from. It has come a long way since we were there in the 70s. The waterfront is amazing. I always liked the teams. The big red machine was awesome. Nice facilities for sports & conventions now.
I am in the NOrthfield area.. getting together anyone interested at Chili’s Macedonia to watch THE GAME & PRE GAME TONIGHT.. join us if you wish about 6:30 in Bar area
(if you can pull youself away from “the speech” tonight..hAHAHAHA)
