Palin takes aim at GOP presidential candidates
The Hill ^ | September 12, 2011 | Josh Lederman

Palin even went as far as to lend her voice to the charge leveled by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) during the debate against Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R): That he allowed a law to go though requiring HPV vaccinations for adolescent girls because of a $5,000 campaign donation and his relationship with his former chief of staff, who went on to lobby for a pharmaceutical company.

"I knew there was something to it," Palin said of learning while she was Alaska's governor that her Texas counterpart had given the go-ahead to the vaccine. "Now we're finding that now, yea, something was up with that issue. It was an illustration or bit of evidence of some crony capitalism."

I’m not pissed about it.

Of course you are. Which is why you brought it up several times. Don't get ticked at people for noticing what you say.

Really? They want to lead this country and having a job stops them from being vocal on the things that were happening to pull down this country and NOW they want to lead it? No fire in the belly when they indeed did have a platform.

Don’t they have the SAME jobs right now? Now - it’s different - there is something ‘in it’ for them and still have the same job!! Who gagged any of them from speaking about, i.e. death panels?

Who gagged them from aligning themselves with SARAH when she spoke out SOLO and the media trashed her? They are in it for themselves and NOT our country.

IMO, she was being dishonest when she said that she knew something was wrong with Perry/Gardisal when Palin was still governor of Alaska. Either that, or she was being dishonest when she campaigned for him last year, and “crony capitalism” wasn't a concern of hers.

So yes, I do think she has been dishonest. Either she lied about her concerns about Perry's crony capitalism while governor, or she supported Perry while knowing he was corrupt and could be bought. Which is it, Sarah?

“What delusions? We have a mission or we don’t”

So were you serious then. JR frowns mightily on Romneybots or Romney support. There could be some kitties in your future with that mindset. Perhaps some electricity.

Aside from that, as a woman, it’s a bit over the top implying SARAH didn’t have a job - five children is what to you? Helping with the family fishing business is what to you? Aside from that she was doing the job the others didn’t want to do - lest they get trashed, also, by the media. WIMPS!!!! Nothing patriotic about that!

Stop putting words in my mouthk, you liar.

Here's just one example:

Fox News pays Palin $1 million/year to draw ratings to their network.

YOUR words. Posters can find other examples.

Watch the name calling.

“The “Palin or nothing” crowd” Such a group on FR does not exist.

There are a few misguided, very passionate folks, that say they are, but when it comes down to it, they will support whomever is the (R) nominee, and so will I.

“the Palin-bots and Paul-bots, and have an entirely different mission, ie., To Boot All Our Other Contenders” You’re wrong. Just dead ass wrong.

Strong support, hooray, yeah, yeah, yeah, cheer leading, for sure (and why not?), but still it’s not like we/they spike personal attacks like the supporters of some other candidates do.

Don’t do that. Do not throw out ad hominem and circular logic in a weak attempt to raise the value of your candidate.

It’s always like this before the primary for every General and Mid term. THIS is the time for it. After all, we circle our wagons and solidify our support for the (R) NOMINEE after the Primaries. Don’t we?

Gov. Palin is honest, temperate, principled and brave in thought, word and deed. Exactly the qualities I wish for in my POTUS.

And, so that you know, unless and until she does announce a run, I’m in the Gov. Perry camp.

P.S. Romney, one a good day, with the Sun shining over his shoulder, and with the Blessings of God, might, maybe, make a fair Commerce Secretary, but POTUS? Fuggetaboudit!

You have been spewing leftist drivel about her income repeatedly. You also use sophistry when saying she "quit" when you know full and well the back story. You are acting like a liberal masquerading yourself in self-indignation behind "conservative". In a nutshell, you are a CINO.

No need to respond...you have been added to my FR filter plugin...ta-ta.

A few days back there were freepers pushing the meme that it wasn’t “FAIR” for Palin to do what she’s doing.

Yeah, of all of the shots taken at Palin, this has to be the funniest. Why should Palin be forced to play by a set of "rules" that don't actually exist? "Just because everyone else does it" is a rotten excuse for anything, and even worse when looking for a potential leader or executive.

She's running or she's not running. If she's running, she has a plan. it will work or it won't. All of the prognostication one way or another won't change that one bit.

But if she does get in, one thing is for certain -- by November, no one's going to care who started running in May and who started in September.

Regarding the optout provision:

http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2010/feb/06/rick-perry/perry-says-hpv-vaccine-he-mandated-would-have-been/

We rate Perry’s claim Barely True.

Editor’s note: This statement was rated Barely True when it was published. On July 27, 2011, we changed the name for the rating to Mostly False.

Oh, wait. Here's another:

I don't know what her agenda is other than pulling in $1 million/year from Fox News,

I agree with you. Palin needs to keep prodding the candidates and keeping them on the straight and narrow. Then we will all know which one will be the ONE....................

Where did I say I don’t approve of Palin making money? What did I post that was a lie?

You are a liar. It’s not a name; it’s the truth.

We had many qualified candidates on stage last night

Qualified for what?
What has Mitt done for our country?
What has Mitchelle done - what are her accomplishments?
What has Cain done for our country? What are his accomplishments for our country?

Hmm, why don't you ask the Bossman..
He may have an answer ;^) (BTW, did you know that this is "Palin Country"?)

Yeah, and???

You're a liar, and you have impugned my integrity. It seems to be what you do the best. I have no problem with Palin making money. None at all. For the last time, her words should be viewed through that prism, though.

Gosh, my mistake then. Repeatedly bringing up her salary in your rabidly anti-Palin posts was a sign of affection. My mistake.

I wonder if people really don’t understand that their stupidity is seen by millions. Do they even care?

I agree wholly. Palin will live an/or die by her plan. Whining PDSers will not change that. And anyone who thinks the attention span of the average voter goes beyond the week of the election is deluding themselves. None of this early skirmishing matters in the slightest.
