Ron Paul's Poisonous Partisans
American Thinker ^ | September 17, 2011 | Larry Bailey

Posted on 09/17/2011 9:13:02 AM PDT by Interesting Times

Some of Ron Paul's most avid (some say "rabid") supporters are not friends of America. The Marxist group "Code Pink" are frequent and vociferous supporters of the good congressman, as are "Iraq Veterans against the War," a Soros-funded group that is sometimes violently opposed to any American intervention overseas, no matter how justified it may be.

Code Pink, headed up by Medea Benjamin, shows up at any anti-American gathering that happens to have media (no pun intended) coverage scheduled. That organization is frequently joined by IVAW in its pursuit of America-bashing.

Now, Rep. Paul cannot be held totally responsible for who attends his rallies and who organizes his Iowa Straw Poll effort, but the public should not be kept in the dark about who it is that has become so close to the congressman.

Code Pink seems to be the league of frumpy women.

I got the impression that the LP was started by people who hated the Vietnam conflict, the war on drugs, the left, and Nixon’s economic & monetary policies.

“ON THE ISSUE OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE HE IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!”

The gold stardard? How do you grow the economy on that? Mine more gold?

Ron Paul is a raving nutball.

All I can say is that in this election cycle, Ron Paul has attacked Republicans far more than he has attacked Obama.

This is the same tactic this author, you and many other posters here on FR are willing to stoop to. If you don’t want it done to you, don’t do it to others ... I believe that’s the Golden Rule isn’t it.

Pretty simple.

So do you agree with the Federal Reserve bailing out European Central banks?

Because that is what is going on right now.

Code Pink has nothing to do with Ron Paul. That is absolute horsesh*t.

That is the same as saying Sarah Palin had sex with Glenn Rice. If you want to believe it fine... go ahead.

Agree or disagree with a politician based on actual substance. Not on lies.

Ron Paul would be a nobody in the democrat party, hence he uses the Republican Party to taunt conservatives. Course the GOP has preached the ‘big’ tent gospel until they became a TARP. I do not see a dimes worth of difference in Paul and lord McCain. The conservatives to them are like the wife they pretend to love, but spend most nights in bed with a liberal. Serial adulterers, politically speaking.

That's your right to believe that... but you don't have to make up a bunch of lies.

Do you like it when MSNBC calls every member of the tea party a racist?

Hogwash! Those groups generally make an “exception” for Obama’s wars, hence they are not really antiwar in the real sense.

What's "hogwash". I clearly indicated that they aren't really anti-war. How could they be when they worship monsters like Mao, Stalin and Che. These aren't actually 'men of peace'. The commie "peace" groups never met a leftist uprising or overthrow that they didn't love and support. It's only AMERICA and our allies military actions that they oppose.

Paul also opposes interventions in Korea, Formosa and everywhere else. I don’t think he cares who backs his views. This may be nuts but he believes his economic and foreign policy views are best for America.

So he was always buying ads to look into opponent's sex lives? Funny, I used to have a better opinion of Paul and his followers.

BTW, where does all his cash come from?

So you don’t mind that Paul called Reagan a failure.. To bad that he doesn’t practice what he preaches. Never mind that he backed Chuckie Baldwin, Alan “The Loser” Keyes, Ralph Nader, and Cynthia McKinney in the 08 elections..

Cindy Sheehan endorses Ron Paul over Barack Obama

http://wigdersonlibrarypub.blogspot.com/2008/05/cindy-sheehan-endorses-ron-paul-over.html

and earlier:

Sheehan: “I don’t want to even discuss who is likely to be the Republican nominee, because besides having little foreign policy difference between any of them and Hillary, anyone of them would be a complete disaster on matters of war and peace, with the possible exception of Ron Paul (Tx).”

http://salsa.wiredforchange.com/o/1590/t/523/blog/comments.jsp?key=346&blog_entry_KEY=21045&t

And generally his proponents on FR spend most of their time tearing down republicans and trying to divide and disrupt.

"So you don’t mind that Paul called Reagan a failure"

Ron Paul is a failure too. Our currency value is being depleted and we going broke as world-wide interventionist.

Code Pink 'Bundles' for Barack, 4/14/2008

"The co-founder of the radical anti-war group Code Pink [Jodie Evans] has “bundled” more than $50,000 for Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and pro-troops groups are demanding that he return the money."
