Let’s hope she gets in, if for no other reason, than to pull the two RINO’s to the right. Perry is marginally better than Romney. which isn’t saying much.

Oh I would wager it is more then Perry supporters that now view her unfavorably.

Her sniping on the sidelines while plying this will she or won’t she game is annoying everyone but her most devoted of followers and if honest it’s annoying even some of them.

Far as the numbers Perry really doesn’t seem to be damaged among Republican primary voters but he has taken a hit in the general election numbers I assume because of Mitt’s mediscaring.

There would be no discernable difference between a Perry and a Romney presidency.

Ha ha.

Rick Perry is a Gore-derived Rove-controlled RINO
who is slightly more electable than Milt.

But the most electable, CONSERVATIVE is obviously
the talented, and beautiful, Gov. Palin.

By all means, let's believe everything state-controlled media tells us and allow them to pick our candidate again and again and again and...

Are you really going to remain in a fantasy world forever? I mean, are you really going to continue trying to deny what virtually every poll shows? Palin's negatives are astronomically bad, and even majorities of Republicans in this and many polls view her negatively, have no interest in her running for president, and otherwise just want her to leave the stage for awhile?

The "state-controlled" media is not sneaking into just about every pollster's operations to rig Palin's numbers to show her in a negative light. It's one thing to argue (often correctly) that pollsters ask slanted questions or over sample Democrats, but these Palin results are direct questions to the Republican sample within the poll.

She's incredibly unpopular, get over it. Palin could maybe overcome being polarizing, as long as she had solid Republican support - but she doesn't even have that. This path she has chosen is not one that can lead to a successful presidential campaign in 2012. It's just not going to happen.

You must have missed my post 5:

Link to actual poll results:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/docs/2011/NYT_CBS_Republicans_0916.pdf

From the poll results statement:

“Sarah Palin receives her highest unfavorable rating (62%) in this poll since CBS News began asking about her in 2008. And for the first time, more Republicans now view her unfavorably than favorably.”

On page 4-5 of the poll:

View of Palin:

Among all registered voters: 20% fav, 62% unfav
Among Republican voters: 36% fave, 39% unfav
Among tea party: 44% fav, 32% unfav

“If Palin had just kept her job as Governor and stayed away from fluff Reality TV and spotlight hogging media appearances she might have been able to compete this time around. Which is why it’s obvious she isn’t running in 2012.”

Bingo. I totally agree. She should have served out her term. Immediately after leaving her position, she started touring the country on a book tour and suddenly appeared on FOX as a commentator. Looks opportunistic and a quick chance to cash in. Don’t blame her, but stay out of politics and stop leading on your supporters.

Amazing isn't it.

Only a poll worshipper believes that we can change the country for the better by using state-controlled/state-paid-for polls as a "valuable" tool.

Sorry, bud, even if I were anti-Palin, which I'm not, I wouldn't refer to her in that manner.

It was all you. Own your idiotic use of language.

I'll tell you what's annoying, accusing somebody of "snipping from the sidelines".

I will point out to you that it is the job of every citizen in the country to constructively criticize the candidates who are in the race. That isn't something only reserved for the candidates in the race to do.

If Palin has constructive criticism, I don't give two poops if she does that from inside the race or from on the sidelines.

I agree. Romney may be a flip flopper, but he is not a blowhard phony like Perry. That said, any of the candidates would be better than what we have now. But whoever wins the support of Independents will win the election, and that person will not be Perry.
