Hi naps. Good point in #3.

At that time, Milt Romney began his assault on the GOP;
first against the candidates, and later against the
GOP ticket (THAT IS THE REASON HE IS 'ENTITLED'?)

Novak: "Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign"

Said Novak: "The rumors were traced in part to Mitt Romney's campaign,
trying to stir up strife between McCain and Thompson
."

"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Mitt Romney, Carpetbagger UT,CA,MA,NH,Mexico) lost Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges."

A lot of them are really ticked after being duped by yesterday’s stunt on The Bob & Mark Show. She could’ve avoided that fiasco with a simple tweet or post, but chose to let her supporters look like idiots.

It has nothing to do with logic. It has to do with facts. Take the emotion out of it and see it for what it is. Facts don’t lie.

Not really. Romney lost because he didn't say anything relevant in the Gardasil issue. Perry did. Bachmann did.

Here's Romney's problem ~ 12 year old girls and sexual matters, and although we all know LDS has nothing to do with FLDS, every Mormon believes the general public does not differentiate between the two varieties.

Therefore, so goes Mormon thinking, if Romney says anything that'll simply tie him to the FLDS problem. It logically follows that he retains position as long as he is quiet.

Unfortunately for Romney everybody knows FLDS has nothing to do with LDS, so by remaining silent it looks like he's some sort of doufous UNWILLING to get involved in popular and/or important disputes ~ and that just put him 7 pts behind Perry.

Again, for every candidate it is IMPORTANT ~ VITAL EVEN ~ to appear to be willing to leap to the defense of women and children ~ even if you sound irrational. Otherwise you will be viewed by EVERYONE as unfit for office.

Independents are irrelevant ~ most of the time and especially so in this election.

I mean, are you really going to continue trying to deny what virtually every poll shows?

Yes, Mr. Chamberlain.

[Of note, Sarah Palin’s net favorability rating is only +12 percent among Tea Party-supporting Republicans.]

I find that impossible to believe. Is there, perhaps, some sort of backlash because people think she’s not running? If so, that would change if she got in the race.
