it was a mistake for any 2 term congressman to consider running for the highest office in the land

Maybe, but there was a recent precedent set by a certain half-term senator.

Why on earth do political campaigns rehire such tried and true losers?

Rollins screwed up Chrissie Whitman after the election for making dumb remarks.

He’s a loser and she deserves better than trash like Rollins.

Her run was absolutely ill fated and self serving.

She allowed herself to be used by the anti Palin MSM, she has done more harm than good. The MSM/Rep pushed her in their polling, and while she had some real support the majority was manufactured by the MSM/Rep est only to somehow keep Palin down, that was all she meant to them.

The proof is in the pudding! Her support was not real, that was why she was unable to raise virtually any money.

How much money a candidate raises is the only area that the MSM/REP est has no control over. They can manufacture polls, but that`s where it ends.

Real support= real money...case closed

Should be interesting to see where Rollins lands. I guarantee he’ll end up with another campaign.

I have been blaring the Ed Rollins horn since Bachmann hired him. He is a dirt-bag, conservative hating, vile, scum of a man. Why in the world Bachmann hired him evades my comprehension. I lost a lot of respect for her when she hitched her wagon to Rollins.

Rollins showed since 1988 that he can’t be trusted.

If that two term congressman was a war hero, I don't think it would pose much of a problem.

“Now we know why Sarah is waiting, this kind of stuff happens when a presidential campaign goes on for 2 years.”

I’ll agree with that. Everyone running for the nomination in the GOP has made mistakes. And who ever the “chosen” candidate is for the GOP the left’s media will go after whoever it is.

She was doomed after Iowa no matter what after Perry entered. You didn’t really think she’d make it to South Carolina, did you?

For crying out loud, can’t these people ever shut their mouths? Must they always try to be relevant?

I did a little research into this "Ed Rollins" character. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. He "earned his bones" in national politics so to speak by running the 1984 re-election campaign for Reagan. Hell, Reagan could have had hired any fool to run that campaign and he would have still won.

Since 1984, Rollins record has been less than stellar. He ran Kemp's campaign in 1988 (winning zero primaries), then jumped to Ross Perot in 1992 and we all know what a train wreck that was. Then he ran Huckabee's road-to-nowhere campaign four years ago and now poor Michelle Bachmann saddled herself with him. Then there are a bunch of lesser campaigns that he worked on with not a whole lot of success.

Palin is wise to stay away from these so-called "pros".

I would argue she got what she deserved.

She hired Rollins, defended his comments about Gov Palin as no big deal “that`s just Ed being Ed”.

Only after it snowballed did she feign outrage and demand that Ed apologize to Gov Palin. At no point did Bachmann herself apologize. Not to mention no apologies for Bachmann`s people on the ground in Iowa and SC trashing Gov Palin.

Bachmann also should have apologized to Gov Palin`s supporters...all this would have been hollow without first firing Rollins anyway.

So, what goes around comes around!

I do not think she will quit after Iowa, and I would be very surprised if she ever endorsed Gov Palin.

She was asked by the Christian post prior to announcing her run... If you should decide not to run, could you ever see a scenario that would have you endorse a Palin candidacy? She refused to answer the question

I don’t like it when the candidates or candidate possiblities criticize other candidates or candidate possibilities.

They should all be critizing OBAMA. These debates are set up by libs who try to sucker them into attacking each other so all their credibilies will be destroyed even before the nomination process occurs.

They should remember Reagan’s Eleventh Commandment.

We all have our favorites, but any ONE of them is light years ahead of the racist, anti-American Muslim Marxist phony wrecking our economy, our military, our international prestige and everything about us.

My favorite is his campaign for Arianna’s gay husband, Michael Huffington. That’s the one where Arianna offered to pay for Rollins’ hookers if he felt the need. Loser!

HUGE mistake! Rollins was an establishment plant, sent out on a mission to sabotage her. And if she was not smart enough to see through that, then maybe she should not be President.

Judging from his comments, he’s angling for a job with Perry.

Might be bad news wrt the executive, but it’s good news for the legislature if Bachmann doesn’t win the nomination. We are all lucky to have such legislators as MB.

Who is Ed Rollins working for now?
