Although today is the dawn of the Chinese New Year, most people are unaware that Chinese Christians are gearing up to be the world's most potent missionary force.
China? Christians? Sure enough. For decades now they've had plans to evangelize the Muslim world that lies along the old Silk Road route. This could be one of the most ambitious missionary enterprises in 2,000 years of Christianity. No national church has amazed the world as much as that of the Chinese. From 1 million at the time of the Communist takeover in 1949, it's grown to 100 million followers, a breathtaking growth in 60 years.
Evangelical Chinese Christians have come up with a way to evangelize a large portion of the world that will never see a western missionary. These are countries with large Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu populations, most of them located somewhere along a 7,000-mile route stretching from Xian in central China to the cities of Jerusalem, Antioch and Istanbul in the Middle East. Those were the ancient terminuses of the famous Silk Road.

I'm sad to say that I did not know that.
China deflates its growing Christian freedom movement by sending them to pacify the enemy. And if they’re all lucky, will bring Muslim women into Chinese-Christian marriages and deflate the Muslim population bomb driving modern Jihad. If it works, the world wins.
Good, because they won’t hear any b.s. prosperity gospel or The Purpose Driven Li(f)e type nonsense. I’ll say it again. . .I don’t doubt there are more true Christians in China than there are in N. America.

Good grief. . .imagine our world, If those, 'otherwise disinclined'/resistant to the gravity of a moral universe; prevailed. We know, of course; all inherent, in such a threat.
By contrast, imagine the novelty to those heretofore, indisposed, to concepts such as "Do Unto Others" and "Love Thy Neighbor" - as Thyself'; newly fashioning one's moral 'lights'. Imagine the life-changing wisdom per the need and the power, of 'Forgiveness'. An alien idea to those not otherwise, acculturated to such.
Given the excruciating realities of today's ideological demographics; a conversion to an authentic - i.e. Moral - rationale; IS Humanity's ONLY hope, for a value-prosperous survival. . . in this world.
Oh, the Chinese have their fair share of mod-syncretistic wackos. When the Chicoms want to smear Christianity they often trot out some of these — not necessarily mainstream Christians — to be ridiculed, then shot or tortured. They know that mainstream Christianity gets wide popular respect.
Chicoms should also understand, and they do, that they can turn their backs to Christians without the danger of getting stabbed.
The same can be said about the Vietnamese.
Go to the Vietnamese shopping mall in Houston and nowhere do you read “Happy Holidays” during Christmas time — it’s always “Merry Christmas”. They even have the audacity to show a manger scene.
And you will never hear CAIR or the ACLU complain about it.
May God protect these brave believers and bless their efforts.
Then, convert the surviving Muslims to Christianity and drop their Imams in the crater where Mecca used to be.

I was getting excited about this until I noticed the source - Wapo.
This article states there are 100,000,000 Christians in China. More reliable sources admit they don’t know how many Christians there are with nearly that much precision.
These Christians from China ARE DOING what Jesus COMMANDS all Christian believers to do, get HIS GOSPEL out to ALL THE NATIONS.
Plus there are many areas in the global south where the Christian Church is growing. Most likely they will end up sending missionaries to the west to re-evangelize it.
