"From the moment I took office what we've seen is a constant ideological pushback against any kind of sensible reforms that would make our economy work better and give people more opportunity," the president said....
He took office with a sizeable majority in the House and filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. No "pushback" was an option. Does he think we're really that stupid?

It would cripple the parochial Democrat vision of winners and losers all picked by the Politburo, with waste and sops galore.
It sounds like the devil complaining that to send him to hell would be a bad thing. Well yes it would be — for you, old chap!

..."fundamentally cripple America," as he tried out his newly combative message on the liberal West
Newly combative? What a joke. Everything coming off of his teleprompter has been combative and angry. Blame Bush, Corporate Jets, Tea Party people, The Rich, ect. If the base was not excited by that, I doubt this new round of vitriol will matter.

President Barack Obama charged Sunday that the GOP vision of government would "fundamentally cripple America," as he tried out his newly combative message on the liberal West Coast. Hey BO, America is no longer stuck on stupid, YOU and your skittle/unicorn speak are toast.
You is gone, baby, gone!!!

I can see Palin going head to head with Obama. She would tear him a new one. When she gets in this race, she is going to focus on him like a laser.
