Let’s see is Turkey a NATO member and US ally in the world-wide war for liberty or the vanguard in an attack on it?

the boys would be close enough to pick up American TV and radio - imagine the Rev Guard watching “Dancing with the Stars”

Iran, like most of the rest of the world outside of North America, uses the PAL broadcast standard for tv. Their receivers won't work with American tv broadcasts.

We need to point out (as we send Iran’s ships to the bottom and don’t bother to pick up any survivors, but do take the time to dump blood into the water to attract sharks) that we don’t have diplomatic relations with or recognition of the so-called government of Iran. Thanks Sub-Driver.

Even then, there are a few different versions of PAL and not all of them enjoy full interoperability.

So the Iranians want to put a platform for nukes and/or EMP devices close offshore. I wouldn’t regard this as a joke.

If they are this dangerous should we allow them to start raping our goats now?

Or should we just give up?

Even then, there are a few different versions of PAL and not all of them enjoy full interoperability.

Fortunately, DVDs come only in NTSC and PAL flavors, and my PAL-converting players work just fine with my American tvs.

There's a whole world of tv and movies out there Americans know not much about. Region-free, NTSC/PAL capable players open the door a little.

Russia “just unveiled the Club-K, a container-based cruise missile for sale on the international market. This cruise missile is hidden in a “shipping container” that disguises the transporter-erecter-launcher for the Club-K missile.

Iran and other state actors are potential customers. It could also fall into the hands of terrorists.”

Thankfully, there are just two main recording stanrds for DVDs. Adding SECAM to the list would be annoying.
