Yup, Juan McCain's position. Everybody knows that.

She tossed in the SECRET CONSERVATIVE PASSWORD however ~ it goes "Follow The Rules".

Rush probably imagines the Country Clubbers he plays golf with are "THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT" rather than just the worker-bees.

Man, is he cut off.

I'm sure Huntsman knows a couple of them but they don't usually hang around with his brand ~ more likely of them to call up their big bud Romney!

A RINO is virtually always a Democrat who “came over” ~ mostly in Southern states.

That sounds a bit better.

Somewhat comforting.

Border security is a federal issue and not the responsibility of the states.

As long as Perry continues to favor open borders and enables and encourages illegals to swarm the border he is not co-operating to secure the borders...let alone close them. Perry wants troops to fight the drug cartel wars.....his concern is not for illegals crossing daily when he supports those coming in via his programs to feed, house and educate them..

All I care about with any of the candidates is whether or not they are going to help to take down every single piece of crap Obama put into law.

That's it.

I don't hear any of them talking about some of the stuff BO and his congress have passed except Obamacare. There's a ton stuff to deal with if any of those candidates and a willing congress want to get rid of.

Traditionally these Republican “Country Clubbers” have provided manpower and money to Republican party campaigns ~ making many candidates rather dependent on the “Country Clubber” class.

- - - - - -
That is exactly why they are the Establishment. They have worked (or more likely bought) the powers of position and they only give money to the liberal/fiscal cons only candidates, which affects ideology of the party as a whole and particularly of the choice of candidates.

Also, most CCers don’t work for candidates, other than giving fundraisers. Its the YR’s that do all the grunt work, while the CCers have the parties. Did it for far too many years for them - people like Delores Hope.

Don’t be so sure about that - he’s made of tough stuff.

I think he's a great guy. It's not toughness but inexperience that the spotlight will reveal.

If you live in Georgia, I’ll send you a few. If you do not, no names I send you would make sense as you wouldn’t be familiar with them or their positions.

It's way past time for the GOP to allow a Conservative to run for President on their ticket.

The fact that they won't is the reason that Obama may be elected again.

Many Conservative voters are tired of voting for the lessor of two evils.

It's on the GOP, not the voters that choose to not vote.

It seems there is no other way to get the message to the GOP that they have to put up a Conservative candidate in order to have a republican voted into the highest office of the land.

But it seems they would rather have Obama for another 4 years instead of doing the right thing.

I see, people who want a candidate who is tough on immigration are anti-constitutional. That’s quite a leap, FRiend.

I usually consider the YRs as part of the country club crowd ~ mostly because most of them were frat boys in college ~ mostly (not all, but mostly).

Let me tell you, just for the record, those of us who are old enough to remember know that guest worker programs don’t work. We remember the brasero program that didn’t work and that is why they stopped it. Get rid of the minimum wage and you will have farmers and fruit growers hiring Americans again because they won’t have to pay minimum wage. What ever they are called, illegals or guest workers they are still here taking money away from Americans, and don’t give me that sh** about “jobs Americans won’t do”, that is just BS.

And that is not my experience at all. Rather the opposite is true. In our area (Palm Springs lots of CCers), the YRs were not the ‘frat boys’ but young STRONGLY conservative youth who did the grunt work for the party (phone banking, precint walking, party setup and takedown). Hubby and I (and his best friend) were in charge of YR in Riv Co and NONE of us were CCers or children/grandchildren of CCers. We were all young working class conservatives and most of the other YR groups in So Cal at the time were the same.

Not merely the minimum wage. during the last fifty years Americans have grown up expecting to earn more while working less. The ‘60s, popularized the notion that you should only do the work you like, and the ‘70s contributed the idea that you can have it all without working too hard if you didn’t have kids.
